All over the board with what was willing to be spent on transfers, makes me wonder what we actually have in the bank accounts.

Not really sure how much the niners and guys like Peter Lowy bring to the table but Radz himself is not one of the richest in the League. A lot of this summer’s work was spending premier league money and reinvesting the Raph/Kalvin cash.

I think the niners are more involved in things like the stadium expansion plans and infrastructure projects. We’ll pretty much always have to sell top talent to the top clubs but i hope we can generate more of our own cash soon. If the niners do take over in full one day they’re gonna have to splash some cash. For instance i don’t wanna next summer’s work to hinge on selling Meslier or Harrison.

Gonna make some lasagna, bread, and drink red wine to celebrate our new striker gem.

At least now we have some warm bodies, I assume an Italian international is closer to contribute than the guys on the U21s

Should have looked at the depth and skill Leeds have. Ole Baw would have been playing weekly, maybe he comes in January.

Unless he tears it up at the World Cup and Man City buys him for 90 million

He would’ve played plenty between now and November and at a high arse level.

Awesome, happy for the big pirate.

Edit: Also thought this was cool. Didn’t realize Struijk was so young.

Life has been pretty busy so I’m just now catching up on the happenings — why did Dan James leave? Did that ball get rolling when we thought Gapko was coming and it just couldn’t be stopped once that fell through? Was it a playing time issue (even though it seems like he plays plenty)? I don’t disagree that he’s replaceable, but it doesn’t feel like we’ve replaced him and our squad depth being what it is it just seems like an unnecessary move (unless there’s more to the story).

I think it had to do with the WC as well, Sini was going to take his minutes and James was just going to be a sub for late in the games I assume.

Very frustrating game

Other than a couple individual mistakes and how horrible we were at long balls, we played quite well at times. At least good enough for a point

Have to beat forest at home or you can forget about our nice 4 game haul to start off

Summerville looked pretty good in his appearance. Llorente is responsible for what, 3 or 4 of the goals allowed this week?

At least 2 or 3. He and Koch looked like they’ve never seen a long ball. On review im pissed about their second goal. Koch wins the ball and the guy barges into him and goes down. Never a free kick.

Oof

A striker which we never signed (Gnonto isn’t really a 9)

No reason to move James. Especially to a team we’re probably realistically competing with. Club is a joke sometimes.

Got to watch bits and pieces today, unfortunately it seemed most the pieces I watched Llorente was doing something stupid.

Really need Cooper back, pair him with Koch and get Llorente‘s spastic arse on the bench.

Or had they signed just any average left back you could put Struijk there already
