The precedent has been set. No league leader should be willing to accept any title due to this.

Juventus are in a dog fight for the title, 1 point up, how nice of them 2 not accept something they hadn't earned.
Liverpool should be unanimously selected as champ by EPL teams. They deserve it.

It hasn’t, though, and there isn’t a squad in the league that would overtake Liverpool.
Cram your mathematical analysis.
Liverpool should be given the trophy. They blew the doors off the league, and there are a lot of sore buttholes in here contorting themselves just to avoid having to utter the words “Liverpool are Premier League Champions”.
I have to say, I am rather enjoying all the mental gymnastics up in here, though.
