Not a troll attempt at all. I legitimately think he is terrible and have never understood how the hell he is on the USMNT. I always ask people who back him to prove why he should be on the team and no one gives any proof. He sucks. Period. It's quite hard to believe, as a country of 300+ Million, that we cannot find a better midfielder.

So exhibition games against "B" squads are to be considered? Dude has done almost nothing in real international competition.

I do feel like lots of posters on here are a bit delusional on how well Bradley performs in high pressure games. He hasn't really shown us that he can be an X factor in the past two world cups. Sure, he was playing a new position in 2014 but a good player can adapt. If I remember correctly, his 2010 World Cup performance was marginally better.

Do I think he should be captain? Yes, because he's still a leader on the team and one of the most experienced. But let's be honest, Dempsey would have been captain had he not had been suspended.

Bradley has what it takes to be good, as can be seen in the last two friendlies. He'll probably do fine at the gold cup, but he still has a lot to prove with his World Cup play.
