Not with the sub coming on previously, he stopped it at the proper time. But was clearly off the Jamaican defender and across the end line.

Hats off to the Reggae Boyz. They legitimately stood toe-to-toe with Mexico for 90 minutes today and executed the gameplan to perfection. They deserved the win and their coach should be promoted to the full-time job. Credit to the referee for actually ending the stoppage in three minutes.

Do refs ad on time for subbing? It's my understanding that this is part of the game and no extra time is awarded, just as if they subbed in regular time.

A lot depends upon how long the sub takes - is he walking 75 yards towards the sideline? Or did he jog over?

Yeah, but who cares? Most subs don't sprint off the field in regular time. If I'm a red I add no time unless there is some obvious waste of time getting off the field
