Huge goals in the league and the champions league. Go ahead goal in the Barca tie, winner in the Merseyside Derby and putting the CL final to bed top the list.

Who wouldn’t want to have a guy like that in their side?

He's like the Robert Horry of elite soccer at this point.

I remember when he was named in Ligue 1’s worst team of the season

World class is the most overused term in the sport.

There is maybe 10-15 world class players in the world.

Love or hate Liverpool it is a great comeback story after so many fans wanted him out of town

But to even think he is close to world class is laughable

Gonna agree here. Multiple reasons.

Small sample size.

Low amount of goals.

Style of goals scored.

Lack of consistency/tendency to disappear.

He is coming on strong, no doubt. World class? Not even close.

I am an LFC supporter since 2005 and he was done and dusted. He was really dangerous and then he was just not. He was loaned out and was going to be launched. The kid got into great shape (and he is a physical specimen when fit) and worked his way back into THIS squad. He is the Robert Horry of he PL is spot on because he just has scored the big goals when we need them. But that SOB has pulled a Lazarus, I thought he would have faded into obscurity but he sure as hell proved me wrong.

He’s a streaky player. Simple as that. When he is in form it would be hard to pick another striker over him. His confidence is fragile though. When the guy is on he is a nightmare. He’s huge and fast as frick. Really strong. Really technical. Good with both feet. The guy has all the tools in the world. There’s a reason he was playing knockout games for an elite side as a teenager in the World Cup. He’s a specimen. His form is inconsistent though

Pretty much spot on, he's definitely got the tools, but hasn't been consistent... I will say I much prefer him as a back up on our front line over Sturridge at this point

Batshuayi scored the goal to clinch Chelsea’s last PL title... he’s not world class either.

NOT world-class, but absolutely 100% worth a contract extension as a squad player if he would accept such.

If not, I wish him well in the future elsewhere and Big Cock Divock will always remain a Liverpool legend in my heart.

He will 1000% be part of Liverpool legend forever between scoring the goal to complete the comeback, the ridiculous Merseyside derby winner, and the goal to wrap up #6

Is this a joke?

He's a forward who scored 7 goals in all competitions.

No disrespect to Origi, because he seems like a likeable guy, but just because you score a couple of clutch goals doesn't mean you are one of the best players in the world.
