The way Belgium is wailing and gnashing you would’ve thought Balogun is on a similar level to Kane/Haaland/Cristiano

Shows me the US is really coming around and we are on the up&up internationally

You’d think the world thinks Trump is starting at the 9.

You clearly have not traveled in Europe if you don't realize that whining and whinging is their way of life.

Where was the outrage when FIFA suspended Ronaldo's elbow during the qualifier vs Ireland?

I don’t think there’s a single US fan who would be complaining about Erling Haaland or Mbappe getting a bullshite red card overturned if we were playing them next.

Let’s fricking settle it 11 v 11 in a fair game. Bunch of babies.

I really don't understand why the soccer world is up in arms about reinstating Balogun for this match. The main gripe i'm hearing is about Belgium not having enough time to prepare for the lineup change.

How about the fact that the US had to prepare for the match without him and now have to recalculate their strategy?

The BS red card was unfair for all parties involved.

I understand the frustration from a timing aspect. This should have been nipped in the bud the following day, not 4 days later and the day before the game. Otherwise suck this funnel cake American carnie dick

Honestly, if Europeans are fuming at FIFA corruption or some type of unfair play - they have no one to blame but themselves. They’ve sat idly by for decades watching that organization become what it is. Too late to act bewildered now.

I'm loving it. They are so pissed off with many saying we are ruining THEIR sport.

I think this is a very keen distinction for the US sporting fan and the rest of the world.

Gimme your best. Let's see what you got.

But most everyone else appears to want the easy way. Something about that desire for risk and overcoming all obstacles appears to be a distinctly American thought process.

It's a good portion of our country. Was just browsing some of the comments on Facebook and the amount of Americans upset, is absurd.

Because they're Europeans...that's all they can do is impotently whine about the US from their shithole countries.

That would be quite the advantage. Anyone trying to tackle him would get taken out by the Secret Service.
