Very true. If that Saudi team can beat Argentina then anything is possible.

Well that sucks for the US about getting Argentina instead of Poland in the quarterfinals. Poland is extremely beatable.
I mean this can generally said about all 2nd place sides.

Also, every team is beatable

Argentina looked like normal Argentina today but they are completely bipolar. Anything can happen

Argentina is beatable too. We shouldn't play with fear based on any opponent. Our first-team midfield is that good.

Agreed, but I’d much rather have a chance against Aus/Poland than Argentina.

Netherlands & Aus/Poland would’ve been been an incredibly manageable path to the semis.

Saudi beat Argentina
Tunisia beat France (even a 2nd team France is world class)
Australia beat Denmark
Ecuador should have beaten Netherlands
Costa Rica beat Japan

This whole thing is a toss up
You're going to have to beat a few good teams to go far

Poland played worse than any other team through so far. They were awful against Mexico and could have easily lost 8-0 today

let's take a look at CONCACAF right now... shall we?

USA - advanced to KO stage
MEX - eliminated in group stage
CAN - eliminated in group stage
CRC - can advance to KO stage with a win over GER tomorrow OR a draw & JPN loss

Funny the Mexicants gave up a goal right at the end but fair play keeps the out and Poland in even before that goal. Still funny tho

the Saudis did well enough to not allow them to score the 3rd goal though
