Our defense looks like they read things in slow motion. Beasley can't recover to get back off counters and beckerman is too fricking stupid to get back and cover for him

Atsu is destroying us.
Man of the half Howard, without question.
Need to be better in possession. More patient. Bradley needs to figure it out and get back to playing on his rightful level. Beasley is shite in every aspect.

Our boys were too tired for a final counterattack. I don't blame Jones. He has been a warrior so far.
He and Fab are our two best today along with Cameron and Howard.
We need to figure out left back, but it is too late, I'm afraid.
Boateng scares me as a second half sub.

It looks like to me Beasley is assigned to play forward when Ghana has corner kicks...sounds odd I know but he has been up there a few times.
Anyone know anything about that formation and why he isn't on the back line?

Beasley is not good, but left back is the weakest position in international soccer. Decent teams have gone a dozen years without a good left back.
We have a great left back but he is playing right back instead.

This is the worst Beasley has played at LB. Normally his speed allows him to make up for his deficiencies but when the offensive player is just as fast then you are in trouble. Need to get another one to feel safe.

Referee discretion but in general very little. Lots is let go because the contact takes place within the space of the ball. But in this case it was a clear foul by Muntari on Jones.
