Berhalter can't sit on his subs as he did against Wales, need a couple at the 60 minute mark.

Haji is the only player that I think we need a sub for. He isn’t bringing much from what I can tell. I think Weah centrally gives as much as Haji and lets us get BA on.

Unfortunately for your analysis, England also plays a third game.

Wright has been invisible. Can Jesus save us in the second half? Pepi would be nice right about now.

For advancing, a tie doesn’t help us. If we want to hope Wales beats England (lol) and we beat Iran, so we can win the group, then sure, a tie is beneficial. But for the most likely scenario we need a win here so we only have to tie Iran to advance, barring a welsh miracle.

This may be the liquor talking but I think this team may be brazen enough to pull out a W

Love what I’ve seen in the first half. Greg just has to be on it when to sub. Can’t wait too late to get guys on when legs start to go.

I would say sub Gio or we riot but we’re playing well

Still would love to see Gio if we’re going traditional 4-4-2 but Haji has been ok

We are fricked if Soutgate brings on Foden.

I'd feel better if he brought him on for Saka.

But Saka and Foden on the wings will not be good for us

Saka is OWNING Jedi and Sterling is causing some issues on the other side. Either of these two (or both) will be the starting point of English goals in 2nd half.

Beating England and losing to Iran would be the biggest nut punch of all time so let's not do that.

It really must be the young protégé Gio Reyna who comes on first for our Yanks.

England only playing 2 games in group play? Is that is a new thing?

Foden and Grealish both give a major boost to England. Sterling has been weak and Foden would instantly create chances getting to the byline.
