Don’t know who you are talking about but Fernando and Jorge need to go before whoever you are talking about. They are cringeworthy. The World Cup night shows were a must watch for me until they switched to fox and no Alexi.

I haven't seen Grant Wahl once the entire tournament, and I've watched probably 80% of the games. I guess he's been regulated to the night show?

I mentioned this is one of S' late night threads the other night. He is awful on TV but he has become pretty insufferable on Twitter as well. He had a douchebag tweet right after the England win - "England's first WC semifinal since 2015". Because, you know, god forbid we just talk about the men's WC while it is going on. When the US men play, do we say "3 time World Cup champions USA..."? No, so frick off.
Oh and for a guy who has covered soccer for a very long time he is extremely piss poor and providing any insight at all on tactics or breakdown of the game that just aired

He was telling some story yesterday about how he was in Paris when France won in 1998 and he forgot his laptop at his apartment and had to walk five miles through Paris to get it. In this short story he mentioned his "girl friend at the time, now wife" five or six times. We get it dude, you aren't gay.
