My refusal to play online has extended my happiness with this game by a great amount.
It is, however, with all of its faults, one of the best (if not the best) sports franchise on the planet. Playing a game of NCAA will make FIFA's glitches seem miniscule.

My god this. I have gone on complete NCAA boycott for the past 3-4 years and college football is probably my favorite sport

Whatever new features are added, it still won't prevent me getting destroyed by Beast

FIFA 13 is an incredible game.
lulz, with the crazy first touch, the computer dispossessing you at will yet they wont give up the ball, and lets not forget starting a game with no ball
shite i forgot something they have not fixed since the ps2 days, the fricking continuation you pass once its gets to your player then he passes again right to the other team or boots it out

Oh I forgot the one that pisses me off most of all. Your keeper takes his goal kick, the ball goes past midfield and the opposing CB wins the header. Ball subsequently travels 40 yards to a wide open opposing striker who is in on goal.
this actually happens. most of the rest of your complaints are with the ea server or with you making mistakes IMO.
not to mention the only reason you are bitching so much is because the game is always so fricking awesome in comparison to all sports games and its mistakes are tiny compared to other shite.

They don't even have most of the Premier League stadiums. Not going to happen.
Have they ever said why they don't have many stadiums? It annoys me how they only have about 18-20 real stadiums and it makes me not really like playing as Sporting KC or any other team that doesn't have their real stadium in their game. Idk why but it just does

I actually play online (usually FUT) exclusively when I'm not playing against friends IRL. I can't stand the ridiculousness of adjusting for difficulty when playing against CPU so I never do.
I think overall it's a pretty good game and its flaws are often overstated (eg, 45 min and 90 min goals are mathematically at least twice as likely as other goals in individual minutes over the long run). I have a couple of issues I wish they'd improve on. One that I didn't see mentioned was goal kicks are pretty fricking terrible. Probably 80% of them end up in opposition's possession. Thus, the payout for just launching at keeper 10 yds out the box is very high.
In all honesty though, I imagine it's quite difficult to make a soccer game flow like a real-life game when it's shortened from real time by almost 90%. For a video game no less. That doesn't keep me from bitching and acting like a child when I lose though.

El oh fricking el
FIFA is no better this year than it was in 2003. The only reason you think it has is because the game has evolved with the times. The innovation simply is not there. Just one of the reasons EA won worst company by the public for back to back years.
And that is coming from someone who has owned sports games for years upon years AND has tested game for EA, including FIFA 12. The only reason it is better than NCAA is because its budget is so massive that it allows for additional QA.

That will be amended soon enough

All of those things are just you not being very good though (aside from the no ball thing, which I've never seen happen before).
I haven't experienced any of the problems you guys are complaining about. Yea AI could be better. It should get a little better every year, I'd hope. But it doesn't mean the game sucks.

I have no clue what y'all are talking about. I love fifa 13, play it damn near everyday. And the online feature I think is the best. Haven't started my manager career yet. In fact, I only really play online be it seasons or fut. If anyone is ever looking to get slaughtered, let me know.
PS. the first touch is fine, I'd chalk that up to the user not knowing how to control it rather then the game sucking.

Dont kick it that hard down mifield. Lob it gently to your right/left back/midfielder

I'll buy the game, but these features are total bullshite. Just like all the other great "innovations" that EA has fed FIFA fans for years.

I wish I was as good as you to where bugs don't even affect me
