Have you been playing fifa at all the past 10 years?

So that makes it excusable?

No, but you made it seem like this is something new. They've actually made HUGE strides in nerfing it over the years.

It was so OP in 08 (I think that was the year). All you had to do was catch it with your goalie, drop it on the ground and do a full power lob through ball. It was the worst glitch out of every FIFA ever

Well I knew it wasn't a new thing. But it still pisses me off to no end. It can't be hard to make it realistic.

I'm a scouting and MM junkie so I'm excited. My only gripes are that when I do play they don't go to the ball (like every player learns day 1), the computer defense and attack are unbeatable/unstoppable at times (ie frick you, I'm scoring mode), and there's nothing to do with your club money if you get really far in and have a lot of cash just chilling.

But really I'm always a behind the scenes person so gameplay never bothers me that much. I would like for them to make fast breaks possible again, but not as easy as some past games (like 2-3 years ago where Eto'o was unstoppable).

I'm telling you y'all are all overreacting. Remember in 12 the ridiculous amount of curve you could put on your finesse shots? FIFA 13 is excellent. We should get a SB tournament going

I don't play online if I can help it. But I'm not having most of the problems you guys are. My first touch is fine.

I play offline with friends and a lot of online. I don't do manager mode or the virtual pro stuff which seems to be where a lot of people's problems are.

Beast, how did you test FIFA? Was this like super late in the game or something, like, close to release? Cuz that shite got primarily tested in Canada I though. So when FIFA is shitty again, at least we can blame (EA) Canada.

I tested pro clubs on overtime several weekends in a row. We had to go in a secret room to test it. I was chosen because of my bug numbers. Turned out to be a waste of time - all we really tested was that everyone could get into the same game and play together. Literally every single bug I submitted was waived.

I tested a huge spectrum of games. From Madden to Risk to a Nerf shooter game. Two of the games I tested, Ecosystem and NBA Live, we're cancelled literally days before they were supposed to drop.

Yes and the unbeatable human keeps and the 127 VP ratings and the unstoppable free kicks in 11 and the many other shitty features that EA has had in the past 5 years. The first touch is fricking stupid. Unless it's Messi or Mata.

Dude I hated EA because I had so many legit bugs get nixed as chaf or whatever the frick the called it. Oh, that piece of lettuce clipping through the tomato? Not a bug. That possible copyright infringement (showstopper)? Not a bug. One of the mini games controls don't work on certain parts of the screen even though they are supposed to? Not a bug.

Because EA doesn't give a frick about anything except crashes.

And that's because that's what all their other games do.

There are ways to put out a quality product while making massive profits. Just look at Apple.

Definitely. But EA knows they're going to make that money no matter what.
