PS. the first touch is fine, I'd chalk that up to the user not knowing how to control it rather then the game sucking.

this actually happens. most of the rest of your complaints are with the ea server or with you making mistakes IMO.

Yeah ok, Ronaldo.

not to mention the only reason you are bitching so much is because the game is always so fricking awesome in comparison to all sports games and its mistakes are tiny compared to other shite.

Let me guess, you only play offline too? If you win a gold medal in the special olympics its still the special olympics.

Maybe I'll just get North Korean internet like rockchalk and then I can be "good" at the game like he is.

And that is coming from someone who has owned sports games for years upon years AND has tested game for EA, including FIFA 12. The only reason it is better than NCAA is because its budget is so massive that it allows for additional QA.

I also tested for EA and confirm that they are shitty.

Beast, how did you test FIFA? Was this like super late in the game or something, like, close to release? Cuz that shite got primarily tested in Canada I though. So when FIFA is shitty again, at least we can blame (EA) Canada.

but these features are total bullshite.

in theory i love them. i've been saying that fifa has needed a similar dribbling system for years

in practice i will probably hate them

BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE STRAFING/GUARDING IS BACK!

FIFA isn't broke – 65 million games are played globally each week – so there's no pressing need to 'fix' it. In fact, there's a bigger risking of alienating that audience by making the wrong change. It's far too soon to know if EA has succeeded in creating a more satisfying experience but I'm already waiting for kick-off.

It has no real competition.

i like manager, mode, even though it's too easy

the actual gameplay is shite though. the first touch is re-tarded. and worse, it eliminates counter attacks

i haven't played online in a bit, but when i did it was all super attacks/rebound goals

I do too. But not because of the actual playing on the field.

I think someone said the first touch was great but I just don't know how to use it. Well explain why I receive a pass standing still holding left trigger and the ball still bounces 3 feet in front of me. Isn't that the whole point of left trigger??

If you're good at overhead through balls you win. Simple as that. Which is why everyone and their mom runs a pro that's 5'3 and 115 pounds.

First Touch is retarded. Sliders fix that. (Offline, anyway.)

bro you can play with barca and have iniesta give a pass to messi that is slightly above average in power and messi bobbles it

you can first touch it forward, but the computer will get to that before you every time unless there are no defenders

i don't play that mode, but i used to be an online junkie. i have even been rated relatively high in 11 and 12 at times. i could play with the top 500 in either. online used to teach you the eploits in the game, but i was so sickened by it after a few games i just couldn't go back

Which is a whole other gripe. You want to pass it very quickly to the the DM thats 10 feet away? LOL nope. You just tried to pass from your back line all the way to your striker (which obviously gets intercepted) who is 50 yards away.

I just don't understand why EA would build a passing system that would CHOOSE what player receives the ball based on the power you put behind the pass. It completely negates any type of very quick passing. If an opponent is closing on the guy I want to pass it to, I should be able to send a very powerful pass straight at him that will go straight to him before the closing player gets to him. Not go slightly to the left so it can find my striker who is covered by both CBs on the other side of the field. I guess part of that is the auto aiming system and to be fair it is done away with around Division 2. But its aggravating as hell when you have to deal with it with a new club for 8 divisions.
