The most interesting things for me were the conflicts between Cameron and Arena, Jurgen hyping up Donovan big time before the Bayern Munich loan, and the fact that Jurgen was supposed to be let go before the first two Hex losses.

I agree that Goodson is a bit delusional. I had him as our 4th central defender, but I think everyone had him between 4th and 6th, with only enough room for 4 guys at his spot.

Be more dramatic please. They aren’t being told they have terminal cancer. They don’t need to be pulled into an office alone.

Would they have rather the staff not give a frick about telling them personally and announcing it on a piece of paper hung on a bulletin board, middle school style?

I have zero problem with the coaching staff personally telling someone they aren’t picked for the squad. Not sure how anyone can have an issue with that. Shows how fragile some of the players are/were

I don't think that was the problem, but I will say doing it as they are walking off the practice field is a bad look.

To each their own.

No place is going to be ideal. It’s the player whom needs to act professional though, it’s not like the team’s chopping block wasn’t looming.

It isn’t up to the players to decide when they think the squad is cut down and who should make it. Notice how you don’t hear Belgium’s squad moaning about Radja not making the cut.

I think the passing guard of players were entitled as frick and unambitious and that was more the problem than Jurgen.

Obviously, but as they are walking off the field sure as hell isn't the place. At least give them the impression that the practice they just fought through mattered. You owe them that much. Telling them before they even get a chance to wash the sweat off? Come on.

Asking the coach to act like a professional as well is too much?

Definitely not lol. Jurgen did a lot wrong as well. It was truly a perfect shite storm.

Klinsmann was supposed to be fired before we lost our first two games, but Sunil didn't pull the trigger after another US Soccer leader had an emergency heart transplant.

Sunil is such a little bitch. Wanted all the power and control, but couldn't pull the trigger on a decision that was already made because he would take full responsibility.

That's my biggest takeaway (although we already knew that pretty well). None of those frickers would ever take responsibility for failing. It was never Jurgys fault. Or Arenas. And apparently for Sunil it certainly wasn't his, it was the balls fault for going 2 inches (his penis size btw) the wrong way.

On how he told players that they weren't going to the World Cup, there's a right way and a wrong way. And the right way is uncomfortable and awkward and heart-breaking and you don't always get it right but that's the job you sign up for as coach.

Where in the frick has this attitude gone in US Soccer? This is what drew me to loving the USMNT since the early 90s - watching guys ready to bleed for the shirt.

It's not the type of criticism that can be tangibly packaged with cool quotes (most players aren't going to throw each other under the bus) in an expose like this, but he and Baby Bradley deserve quite a bit for allowing this team to become so soft and gutless. Bocanegra wouldn't have allowed that shite. The lone hole is not enough blame on the players.

Missing the olympics 2 cycles in a row and having no one from ages 24-28 step up really hurt us, IMO.

Didn't think it was possible, but it turns out Jurgen was an even bigger megalomaniac than we thought.

Also, it turns out Sunil was an even bigger babyback bitch than we thought.

To be fair, I was excited when Klinsmann was hired. I wanted a new direction for the team and have been a fan of the German style of play since I was a kid. Unfortunately we hired the biggest douche that was not fit to be a good coach, although he was a great player.

I’m still pissed about Donovan being left out of 2014. Imagine if France left out Zidane in 2006?
