England squad leaking little by little

So far…
No Bowen, Wharton, Gibbs-White, Hall, Foden, Maguire
Henderson, Burn and Toney rumored to be in.
English fans are pissed about Wharton, Hall and even Maguire who has had a good season. Is Tuchel a German sleeper agent or something?

Gibbs-White deserves to be in. Dude is a dawg

I really like Wharton too. Incredible passing range.
Lewis Hall may be the best English LB.

Toney? Lmao.
Wouldn’t have any player in my national team squad coming from a Saudi pro league team, and that includes Ronaldo. But Ronaldo is for other reasons.

Wharton missing and Henderson included is pure WTF shite

Would be shocked if Garner is not included.
Dude plays like three positions and runs all over the pitch.
Foden had an awful season, and was demoted by Pep.

Thing is, fans get het up because fringe players are left out or chosen, however they likely never get on the pitch anyway.
MGW can feel aggrieved I think but he's behind Rogers, Bellingham and Eze in that position and probably is the least versatile positional aswell.
Toney is obviously a strange one, but, if we go to a shootout there's no one I'd rather on the pitch.

Looks like Cole Palmer is out as well.

Gibbs White should be there
Imagine 2 years ago thinking Foden wouldn’t be on this squad

Yea i can’t understand leaving out a player in his form. Its why i wish Scotland was bringing McBurnie.

what a fall from grace Foden has been
didn’t he win PL player of the season a few years ago
and now he’s been relegated to the bench and still relatively young
Surprised Palmer didn’t make the cut either

Bummed for the resurgent DCL not getting a look at the World Cup

palmer has struggled with a groin injury all year and I get leaving him off

Only like one of those guys is a 1v1 winger, so it's not super surprising.
When you carry Jude, Eze, Rogers there's not a lot of room for Foden, Palmer, Gibbs-White
And you've got Kane, Watkins, Toney so not sure Welbeck & DCL get any playing time
Bowen the only real snub, but he and Saka are a little too close in skill abilities I imagine
Could maybe argue for MGW over Gordon who hasn't played since April 12
Jordan Henderson over Wharton is puzzling as frick

Yeah that's a pretty pointless tweet the way it's framed.

I get that he had a good season, but was there really a clamor for old arse Danny Welbeck?
Posted on 5/22/26 at 1:15 pm to texastiger38
Whats hilarious is Tuchel saying they have set piece “specialists” while leaving out Trent and Maguire
Posted on 5/22/26 at 2:07 pm to Broyota2
For FK yeah, but Rice & Saka are probably the preeminent corner takers in the world (Reece James as well)
Still got Burn, Toney, Nico for height.
I do think the thing he got right is having runners that can play with Kane as good a passer as he is, hence the Rashford/Gordon/Noni picks.
Southgate missed the boat on that in the Euros.
I do think Trent would have been a good late game sub to come in and spam balls into the box like he's done for so many years.
Very much seems like he wanted to be defensively solid based on his midfielder and "10" selections. All the forwards are good pressers too, to assist Kane
Lot of angst with the selections, but I feel like everyone is bitching at the last 5 or so spots on the roster that probably won't feature a bunch
