I’m not going to write a novel about it but
#1 minority athletes there are way way way more likely to have actual racist shite yelled at them during games, which would never happen here, so it’s a bit more something they personally deal with or have dealt with in their careers, so it’s not off topic
#2 One of the arguments against kneeling here is that if a normal person did that during working hours they’d be disciplined or fired. Well they don’t have at will employment there generally so that’s not really an issue either.
