Your post sucked if it was supposed to be some sort of gotcha. Tottenham threw a parade for winning the NIT of soccer

Winning a European Cup is parade worthy IMO... especially so in the light of their current season...

Your players are celebrating like they just won the Champions League, but just qualified for it.. save it for the Conference League on Wednesday

Real clubs aren't throwing a parade for winning the Europa League. They are embarrassed by the fact they are even in it.

While true, I still want to see a trophy lifted by Chelsea this week.

What will the line-up look like?

I say full strength.

I realize that this is a low tier tournament, but playing against RB in the Final is going to be a tough out imho. They are a solid squad that have played well this season.

In league play they drew with Barcelona, and beat both Madrid clubs. That’s pretty stout.

Nonetheless, I like Chelsea’s chances.

I’m confident going into this one. With the CL birth in-hand, we won’t be pressured for a W and can play loose.

Which striker will we acquire for next season? Osimhen, Delap, Sesko or Gyokeres?

Agreed. The matchup to me is Cuch going against Antony. However, Caicedo against Isco is also a key matchup as well.

On another note - Jackson is available for this one up top.

To me, that is huge.

Osimhen would be the best option, but he may be too costly.

Given that, I would prefer Delap.

I can't say I've watched Osimhen that much, but I just get a Lukaku feeling from him. To be fair, Lukaku never had anyone that could put it on a plate like Palmer. It just bringing in a guy who scores a bunch in Italy and Turkey feels like a redo.

Delap provides something a little different then Jackson and has performed in the PL.

Textbook tackle by caicedo. I’d show that to defenders to learn from although the ref called it a foul

1 minute of extra time lmao

Congrats Blues and Enzo. Great finish to the season. A few key additions and this team should contend for the PL. Now let’s win the world Club cup!
