So what is our best XI now if everyone is healthy (aside from Kante who apparently died of a hamstring pull)?

If Kante's fit then the midfield is him and Ezno. If not probably Kova.

Havertz
Mudryk Felix Sterling/Pulisic
Enzo Kante/Kova
Chilwell Silva Fofana Reece
Kepa

Mendy's likely gone in the summer and I don't think Koulibaly is really favored. Have to imagine that if Fofana is fit he starts on the right and then its clearly Silva with Badiashile rotating in.

So Enzo is suited to play deeper? I was under the impression he was more of an attacking mid.

ETA: After some research I see I was mistaken. So, unless Mudryk can bang them in, we still have no goal scorer.

We have yet to see he and Felix together. The ball movement could be special.

Makes you wonder how much leash Potter will have with all these new toys. I have to think he had involvement in choosing the new players so the pressure will be amped up. Should be fun to watch.

Any thoughts on losing Soonsup-Bell to Spurs? I thought he was a good young academy prospect

Have ya'll read what happened between Chelsea-Ziyech-PSG last night. PSG were going to get Ziyech on loan from Chelsea yesterday and Chelsea sent the wrong paperwork TWICE here's the timeline. Ziyech is fuming.

21:40 - PSG send Chelsea a mark-up of their loan agreement

22:46/22:48/22:50 - PSG call Chelsea to ask them to sign the loan agreement - no answer

22:55 - Chelsea send PSG incorrect document (not signed)

22:56 - PSG send Chelsea the loan agreement signed by the club and the player

22:58 - Chelsea reply that they have already sent a signed version attached to the mail. The version attached was again an incorrect document. (Not Signed)

23:03 - PSG finally receive from Chelsea the signed version (3 minutes past the deadline)

23:04 - PSG download the contract on the LFP system

I highly doubt it, Todd is just playing with his new toy.

The rumor is that the FA is going to go after Mudryk and Cucurella for saying the “n-word.”

Mudryk was singing along to a rap song. I’m not sure of the circumstances around the Cucurella allegation.

If I had to guess, it looks like two to three matches at a minimum, plus big fines. Hell, the FA may be especially punitive as the rest of the league is majorly losses at Chelsea right now.

I hope that these rumors are false.

Time will tell.

It is utterly remarkable how much money we spent without addressing our biggest need

Todd does realize that one must put the ball in the net to win games...?

Could we recall Tammy A? I'm sure it would be expensive but hasn't be been alright for Roma?

don't know much about Fernandez is there anyway we could play a 433 with Mudryk Fernandez and Mount/Sterling as the front 3?

Enzo really isn't a front 3 guy. Think of him as an extremely high level connector. He's apparently really good at controlling the game and switching play.

Good. Like him already.

Must beat Cottagers today. Need some momentum to go with the good vibes surrounding the new acquisitions.

I think we need to say goodbye to Kai. He’s had more than enough chances. Thanks for the Champions League trophy but it’s time.
