I won't hate Cesc, but I hope he realizes that he's going to be a backup for several years. He won't be the "big fish", and if he's okay with that, so be it. But I will never understand why he would want to sacrifice the role he plays at Arsenal for a understudy role at Barca during his prime.

Soccernet is reporting that ManU is going to make an offer 10mm for Nasri. I know he can leave on a free and that would suck. But, that offer is a joke.

I hope to god Wenger sells him to another European team. If that's the ceiling, he should be easily affordable for most top teams. It's important we don't sell our players to other English teams. Wenger knows that, so hopefully we won't see Nasri with a rival next year. It also should be noted that Nasri and Evra absolutely hate each other, and Evra's comments about him were more to piss Nasri off than anything else.

I just watched that video. In the EPL, the ref wouldn't even have a decision to make - he'd be off immediately. The explanation that I heard for no booking was that the ref "didn't see it"; but the tackle was made while Van Persie had the ball, so was he at a bad angle or something?

Well Gervinho didn't happen over the weekend, but it looks like it is happening soon. I like it.
