God if we got Hazard I would cream. He's a brilliant little player.

To enter into this Theo discussion. It's about time we play him in a position suited to his skills, which are basically to get in behind the backline. He can probably hold up play decently, but having Theo's speed at central striker would make us extremely dangerous on the counter. I'm not sure he could be a lone striker though, which is the problem.

I agree with this.

I would love to see hazard at arsenal but i would prefer a CB.

On theo He is really fast, but his ball skills need a lot of improvement. I would like to see him sit higher on the left back. Fabregas and him have been connecting on a lot of good through balls. He is only 21. Him and sagna do a good job controling that side and he has a really good work ethic.

i mean would you really rather have him sit for Arshavin so you can watch him flick back heels into the defenders?

The thing with Theo is that given his speed and threat on attack Arsenal play him balls where his only option is to beat the man on the endline or cross the ball. Since he is so fast and causes the defenders to hold back to cope with his speed Arsenal need to find a way to use that spacing to their advantage. Him stretching the field has passing lanes open, Arsenal needs some diagonal runs up high. It's just not happening.

Is he tracks back on defense a lot better than Arshavin. This is key IMO.

That's whats so interesting about our movement this year. It seems as if our attackers are staying in their third of the pitch. Last year our front three was fairly fluid, meaning players could appear anywhere along the front three once we established possession. This year are runs are vertical, not horizontal. We need more horizontal runs.

lol, why we even bringing up his name. Anyone but Wenger can see he shouldn't touch the pitch.

And yes horizontal/diagonal runs are what is missing.

What is so crazy, is that right and left sides are completely different. Theo only receives long balls, where as Nasri gets everything to his feet. Granted the players are completely different, but the run's off need to adjust accordingly. There is virtually none, other than straight forward runs into the box

God we only tie Leeds. We have to have a replay. We probably should have lost. Denilson gave away a penalty. Hopefully we bring a strong team to Elland Road.

This morning's match really pissed me off. I don't necessarily mind the draw (well, I do, because we're letting them hang around, but still...); rather, I'm upset with HOW we drew. Yes, Leeds played above their heads, particularly on defense, but the Gunners missed several opportunities as well. That needs to be cleared up ASAP.

Completely agree. It's like no one on the field ever played together. I remember a few instances where five yard passes couldn't be completed. We were wasteful in front of goal. Our starting eleven is pretty good, but the rest of the squad needs to step up.

How did you guys watch the game? My channelsurfing.net stream was buffering every 10 secs.

I turned it on late with us down 1-0, so I'm just relieved that we got a rematch.

Fox Soccer Plus. I know that there were a couple pubs in Atlanta that were showing it, as well, but it's cold here today and the match was on one of the channels that I have.

We better get one quick, so the backs can gel before Barca tie rolls in.

Cahill?
Samba?

I would be fine with either one. Any other names people are hearing?

Usual suspects. Cahill and Mertesacker are the names I hear the most. Both Bolton and Werder Bremen could use the cash.
