arshavins not leaving atleast until summer. he has just not had sufficient game time and so lacks confidence. one out of every 3 games this season he has been the best player on field. form is temporary but class is permanent.

He was getting plenty of game time and his lack of success is what's lost him game time recently. I hope he turns it around.

Welp, I hate to say I told you so, but Vermaelen suffers another injury setback. We are for sure buying a CB or two this month.

I'm going to guess it won't be one of those two. Besides Arshavin, most of Wenger's recent signings haven't been rumored for months/weeks. Cahill for 15 mil is too expensive for my taste anyways, but I guess we probably aren't going to have much choice since we are backed into a corner regarding centerbacks and everyone knows it. I wish we had signed Sakho instead of Squillaci...

One substitute appearance for England makes him worth that much? I'm just wary of English players because they are so overvalued. I just hope whoever we get, we get them soon. We might need them Saturday which leads me to a prediction: Song will be at CB Saturday.

I think playing Djourou that many times in a row (would be 3rd match in 7 days, 5th in 14) would be dangerous considering his injury history.
