What a game! The atmosphere in the Emirates was electric tonight. We dominated that shite club from start to finish.
Eze is the man. Midfield dominated. Hincapie looks like he’s been our LCB for years.
All the Eze kits were GONE in the Armoury shop after the game, lol. He deserves all this glory. What a stand up guy

Wish I could have been there for the game and post match scenes.
Eze who? Smacked!

I want to see MLS start on Wednesday I think. Even Ben White possibly. Need Timber and Calafiori completely healthy for next Sunday

Sky sports was so lovely this morning. Like an Arsenal wet dream. Spurs’angst that Eze didn’t sign with them, entire media having to reconcile that without Gabriel, Odegaard, Gyokeres, etc., we dominated Spurs, scored four goals with no set pieces in a weekend that saw so many other contenders drop points. They seem very much annoyed.
They’re building up Chelsea now, however. Next weekend is huge. I’m curious who we play against Bayern. As big as that is, the Chelsea match is more important right now. I’m not suggesting we give that game away, but it’ll be interesting to see who Arteta selects for the team. Eze will certainly be in it

Saliba and Hincapie are definitely starting. To gel and because of Hincapie's experience against this Bayern team for 2 seasons
Saka obviously. I think Trossard since Martinelli is probably not ready quite yet. Rice, Merino, Zubimendi.
I'm certain Timber starts too.
So I think pretty much unchanged outside of maybe Calafiori.
If Arteta picks strong teams in dog shite Carabao cup and FA Cup matches, you better believe he's picking his best available 11 against Bayern. Thankfully we have 3 days to rest for Chelsea afterwards.

Just saw that Chelsea is 13th in home form this season.
Played 6.
L to Brighton
L to Sunderland
D to Palace
W Wolves
W Liverpool
W Fulham
Most of their hard home fixtures are the 2nd half of the season where they play City, United, Spurs, Newcastle at home. They play Liverpool and Arsenal away in 2026.
Idk I still feel City is the team to beat. I think Chelsea still has a bit of a bozo gene

Chelsea is coming off a run of pretty easy games where they looked good. Tottenham, Nottingham Forest at their nadir before the Dyche revival, Wolves, and Burnley as Burnley is really starting to struggle.
They haven’t looked particularly good against any impressive sides

Saliba and Eze having the time of their lives here

United losing at home to Everton despite having a man advantage for 80 minutes is the icing on the cake of a fantastic weekend lol

I did. We did the Academy, but they put us in a shared box, which was pretty nice. Looks like you get access to another dinning area and no limit on free drinks.
One of the things that stuck out the most was how helpful and nice the workers are there. It's like they don't hate their lives, unlike venues I've visited in the US.
I hope you have a great time, and happy to try and answer some questions as it gets closer.
I received the ticket email the day before we flew over and unless I overlooked it there didn’t appear to be an option to add it to a digital wallet, was that your experience also? I printed copies but maybe they can just scan the code from the email? I would rather not try to keep up with the paper.
Any suggestions on how early to arrive and can’t miss things around the stadium? I know we’re going to the team shop and want to allow time for that.
If you took the tube, which station is best for after the match?

Jesus & Odegaard in training again today.
Also saw we’re doing a closed door friendly on Thursday, probably try to get these injured guys some game minutes
No Vik or Havertz. So guessing we roll the same lineup out for Bayern. Would like to see MLS & White get the start at fullback. Timber & Cala need a break

We had the same issue with the tickets and printed them out. You may be able to scan via the email, but we didn’t want to take the chance.
With your tickets, I think you can get in the stadium 2 hrs before. I’d carve out 30 min for the Armory (team shop) prior to entering the stadium. If you plan on having a meal there, get in the stadium 45 before kickoff. In the club section the inside hallway is all glass looking into the pitch, so you can walk around inside with a pint and see the players warmup and such to kill time and soak up the experience. There are nice food and drinking areas you’ll have access to, so I’d say build in as much cushion as you want, worst case you just sit and grab a pint. Also, you can set your stuff down in your box and meet your attendant.
We did take the tube. On the way there we got off at Highbury to have a stop at the pubs right off the exit, then walked about 15 min to the Emirates area. We stopped in the Drayton Arms which is across the street from the stadium.
On our way back, we used Google Maps and went to a small stop (can’t remember the name) that was a few blocks away vs Highbury, and connected to one of the main lines back to our hotel.
Have a great time and report back!

You can scan the pdf from your phone.
I had 4 tickets for the Brighton cup match. Two from Arsenal ballot that went to my Apple wallet and two from Arsenal America that were pdfs. Scanned from phone no problem.
Enjoy. Wear a scarf!

I’ll be at the next Carabao Cap match against Palace in December.
Hoping to squeeze in another PL match before the new year too.
Stadium has been electric. Happy to see people staying until the whistle.

Where are you staying?
After the mid week Cup match against Brighton, a group of us were going back towards Paddington. It was easier to go back to the Drayton Arms Pub. Have a beer and let the crowd exhale. Into the tubes and such.
In 2017, after a midweek PL match, the shuffle out of the stadium and towards Arsenal tube station was a nightmare. Barricaded and cops doing crowd control. Paused the queue to allow people to tap in the station and such. Never again.
Highbury and islington station is about 4 blocks away, it doesn’t get as rammed on the walk there, but entering the station gets bottlenecked right after game.
If you don’t have to take a specific time train back to the countryside and only taking a few tubes back to your flat or hotel, go to a pub and thank me later.

I just got back after spending five days in an Airbnb in the old Highbury stands. If you ever get a chance to do that, I highly recommend it. We took many a night time stroll around the old pitch (a lot of foxes there at night) and just soaked in the history.
It also allowed us to immerse ourselves in the neighborhood. The coffee shops, markets, pubs, restaurants, etc. We had a lot of great conversations with locals.
I got back to the states last night. I’m in the office today. But my mind is still back there, still soaking in the glee from the win, still feeling the electricity of the Emirates as they dropped the tifo right in front of us, still visualizing Eze drop to his knees in front of us to celebrate his hat trick, still wishing I were there.
And now it’s time to find another game and begin to formulate the reasons to share with Mrs. Uhtred as to why it’s imperative I go back for another game in this season

They let you hang back and have a few beers in the concourse after the game, which helps to wait out the crowd. The pubs are rocking after a win, and it’s better to hang out in a pub or restaurant vs fighting the crowd in the tube.
