Looks like more of the same offensively. Can't produce anything in great quantity.

Oh we were much better than the weekend, but the box was our kryptonite. And I thought Sporting got worse after they made subs. But had the last chance of the game.

We will play our Semi-Final First Leg against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday 29 April, with the return leg at home on Tuesday 5 May

We can bitch about form, I get it. But, the greatest Arsenal team of all time only won one trophy. Wenger never made the semifinals in consecutive seasons. It’s a great accomplishment.

Got to figure out how to get 3 pts this weekend.

Hopefully Saka/Cala/Timber/Odegaard are back

I'd like to see a front 3 of Eze/Martinelli, Kai, Saka.

Certainly wasn’t a great offensive performance but at least we were still on the front foot at the end of the game. And not just sit back absorbing pressure

Yeah it hasn't been pretty but our play early on got us here. City hits a good patch after getting knocked out. So at least for this competition, form came too late for them. Let's just hope we can find it again to finish out the season.

Sunday is scary. Only reason it worked today is because Sporting were more wasteful than Arsenal.

To be fair we were great defensively. Probably our best defensive effort in like 2 months

Baws we are one result away at City from really doing something special.

Like I said yesterday I'd do damn near anything for 2 draws this week.

Now if we do the unthinkable and win on Sunday watch the frick out.

It would feed our fanbase for a generation to shithouse the shittiest 1-0 away win ever.

Give me a dog shite deflection off of Donarumma and off of Gabriel's arse cheeks losing xg 2.5 to .3 and still winning. I need it. I need it badly

I think we need to start Kai on Sunday.

I love Gyokeres but the way we are playing now we need someone for the long balls. I think Arteta recognized that.

And because I just don't think Trussard deserves a start. Martinelli at least had good defensive moments and he and Gyokeres just don't connect at all.

God I love the external crying from other fan bases and pundits. Arsenal winning legs 1-0 and they think it’s never happened before lol.

I know you want players to stay off social media and block out the noise but it’s so loud I’d lean into it if I was Arteta.

That frick you mentality. Us vs the world. Also whoever said it above; winning 1-0 on Sunday in the grossest way would be too funny

I just remember getting embarrassed in the champions league year after year. But yeah, you'd think we were the ones that lost the tie with how they talk about us.

And even in the Europa league we got knocked out by this team, we have been knocked out by Olympiacos. This shite isn't a given.

If I'm a sporting fan, I would be mad. You are losing and mustered one shot on target. You didn't even try to win the damn tie.

Big swing of events can occur over the next 9 days.

The scenario we do not want to happen is City wins Sunday and Wednesday and they are ahead on GD and caught up in games taking over 1st place. If we win against Newcastle the following weekend we go back top again though and put the pressure back on them in theory.

A scenario I would gladly take is we draw Sunday and they go 3 points behind us if they win Wednesday and we keep the pressure on them and go back 6 points if we beat Newcastle.

The most ideal scenario is that we win Sunday and go 9 points clear; they cut it to 6 on Wednesday, but we go back to 9 after we beat Newcastle.

The margins man! Crazy.

Saka is for sure out, Noni they don't know.

Odegaard/Timber/Cala are "close"

0 chance we win this game running out Trossard & Martinelli as wingers

The league is going to be rough if we can't get players back.

At least in the CL we can shite house 0-0 all the way to a trophy. Kind of like Italy in 06. In the semi final they scored in the 119th minute and then won the final on penalties.

If they don't get at least a point this weekend, I think most of the fans are going to fully turn on them. Especially if we look as inept as we have the last few weeks

The mentally challenged ones, sure. If we don't win the league, will I be disappointed? Sure. But I'm not going to fully turn on this squad and management that has us on our best European run ever while consistently fighting for the league title

I think we can get a point this weekend. Its just that getting a point in all the rest of the games wont be good enough.

So yeah ill take 0-0 against city, but it cant be 0-0 against Newcastle.

And the last week is going to be crazy because it looks like Palace will play City midweek and us the last day. They could decide it.

Got to figure out how to get healthy. At least we've got no midweek game coming up.

Only 2 more weeks of the last 5 that we have a midweek game
