If palace were smart they would hire Potter before he goes somewhere else.

Woooo!

Was thinking we still need a killer in front of goal. Should be 5 or 6. Hopefully Martinelli starts flying.

We all needed a game where we could relax and enjoy our coffee and the mass substitutions. Hopefully the brace gives Martinelli finishing confidence against sturdier opponents.

All we can do is keep putting up threes with the immediate goal of solidifying a top four position. We have to do the same thing with Forest on the 30th. Dropping points to them would be disastrous, even on the road.

I'm not joking but if Martinelli gets hot, I may believing big again.

That’s the way Arsenal can play. Teams like Palace should be beaten like this. Ball movement was excellent today. Love the clean sheet.

They played quick. Also Saka and Martinelli going with their weak foot a few times was encouraging.

Really need our front line getting back into form. When they are, we are really difficult to beat if we can get the goals.

I’m 99.9% sure it’s fake bullshite from Barca, but if Arteta is actually leaving after this season I will jump off a bridge

I would be worried if this whole project/rebuild thing was not started by him.

I would be slightly worried if Barca weren’t a complete financial disaster, especially if they miss out on Champions league. There is no stability there and I think Arteta realizes he has it pretty good right now. City or Real Madrid would worry me more if they came hard for him.

I think the Spaniard Arteta is still EPL all the way through from his many years as a player and coach. Still … returning home to manage Barca? I don’t think it happens but could not blame him if that was his decision.

Arteta confirms nothing is happening in January window.

Boys are just going to have to nut up
quote:

Arteta: “It wasn't possible to do any January deals. We didn't have capacity to improve the team in the way that we think we want to improve it. So we decided not to do something yet”. “We have one of the thinnest squads in the league, that's for sure”, told @tntsports.

When you struggle for goals you need to take the chances when they come. Enough of the trying to walk the ball in.

The lackluster attack is back sadly. Need a spark.

I've said it for a looong time but we simply are just not as ruthless as Liverpool or City in front of goal.

Jesus with a bad miss. Just place the ball, don't have to blast it.

I am so annoyed with myself

I lost track of the time and didn't turn on the game until now. Was studying for the CPA at work and brain was locked in.

Has this been a good performance?
