Man, I feel like this is just desserts for dominating Man U at the Emirates in past seasons and then De Gea bailing them out.

We dominated them, but we've dominated them a lot in games at the Emirates. Thank god for Eddie's innate finishing.

Also frick you forever Paddy McNair.

What a fricking game! We were relentless the last 15 min or so once United sat back when Fred came on.

Just piling it on.

Trossard showed he is a nice addition as well.

What a game!

Jakub Kiwior, 22 year old left footed ball playing CB from Spezia. He can play fullback as well. Seems like a solid signing who fits our system to a T.

Trossard makes an impact in game 1. We are going to really like this signing.

fricking right boys!!! Hell of a victory. This team has unbelievable resilience that we haven’t had in long time. Zinny brings that winners mentality and I love it.

Thanks for info. I like what Robbie said of the Trossard signing, “sneaky good signing”

I was surprised not to see ESR I hope we are just protecting him.

Ben White was having a handful but not sure Tomo did any better as his play definitively lead to the cornet goal. Definitely room for improvement but we were clearly the better team and deserved the win.

I am going to go ahead and say it. We are going to finish in top 4 this year which was the goal going into the season for this very young team. The future is bright for the gunners. The only question is whether we can win the league. It’s us or Man City, but I really like our chances

Great win for so many reasons.

Next game up is so interesting. FA Cup 4th Round at Man City on Friday afternoon.

I can imagine Arteta going with a very strong squad since we are out of Carabao Cup and don't have R32 Europa League games.

ESR and Trossard about to feast.

I thought United's press on our right with Rashford, McTominay, and Fernandes frustrated us often in the first, so I'll give them some credit. Thought Partey just wasn't as sharp as we're accustomed to passing from the back. That early yellow on White seemed to throw him off mentally.

Can't say enough good things about Zinko today. He was all over the pitch today.

Overall team mentality is absolute nails. These guys aren't flinching at all

Hale End boys leading the way! Keep on keepin on

United has def been a pain for us this season.

We have 16 goals against, they scored 5 of those.

Damn, a full 30% of our goals against has been against Man U. I didn't realize that until you pointed that out. Wow. Definitely something to watch for in the future.

At the same time, 3 goals were scored by Rashford, with one when we were chasing the game at United. He's been a handful for us. I also feel that Ramsdale's error was the direct cause for Martinez's goal. But still, I worry that maybe our weakness will be when you have an elite wide player who can create chances. Luckily there are very few teams that have such players.

To your point about play making wingers it makes me worry for the City matches. Mahrez has been in form and we all know he can dribble exceptionally well. I like to shite on Grealish, but he's been performing well for them this season.

No interest in Mckennie unless it’s a short term loan. I don’t think he fits our passing style at all. Give me Musah all day.

Maybe it is a weakness, but I don't think it's a glaring one. I think we've shown we can play against elite wingers (Zaha and Son). I feel Ben White had a bad game, and it came at a bad time but otherwise very solid. Rash's goal was from a bad pass I've grown accustomed to seeing Partey make in his sleep.

Hopefully against City we can win the possession battle in the midfield (not easy) pulling their wingers back more for less chances for them to exploit.
