Wenger, but as dgnx6 pointed out a few weeks ago, Wenger did a pretty poor job with his purchases after 2015.

I think the biggest thing is look at our center backs now. Big, athletic and comfortable on the ball. I don’t know why that was so hard to get under wenger.

I never liked the Kroenkes but their go young on the staff and build for a few years has worked with their US franchises. So I’m willing to give this a chance even though I doubted the project last season. But seeing the diff between a Jesus and Laca has me all in this season.

That was hilarious and spot on!

When he asks guys to answer his questions, I’m sitting there like, “how would anyone know the answer to that??”

Partey and Zinchenko both out today with injuries. Elneny and Tierney into the starting lineup.

We look very good, my god. We need something else in front of goal. I would take Xhaka off at some point, move Saka there, move Jesus to the right and bring on Nketiah.

Otherwise wow I'm insanely impressed by our positioning going forward and back.

I like a lot of what I'm seeing, but need to be sharper in the attacking third. Too much cute short passing in and around the box, someone needs to step up and take a shot.

Saka also not off to a great start this campaign, just cant get it together near goal.

Also saka desperately needs someone to provide him competition. He’s never been great in front of goal, his shooting has always been pretty bad, but him being a guaranteed starter no matter what will never help him or us be better.

Saka and Martinelli switching sides, wonder if thats an admission that Robinson had Saka's number today.

The backline getting very sloppy playing out the back since giving up the goal too. Pretty nervy.

LET'S frickING GO!!!!!

Love Gabriel. fricking warrior. fricked up badly (disgustingly bad decision and ball from Saka btw) but fully redeemed himself.

We had ONE come from behind win last year (RIP Pepe) and now have one now.

We are a completely different team. We dominated that.

Hot Take, man Tierney looks more expendable by the day.....

This was the funnest game I've watched in years. Elneny, Saliba, Xhaka, and MO8 were superb. Nketiah looked amazing when he came on. Martinelli and Saka didn't have the best games, enough to suggest that maybe they should be dropped to try some other players, which hopefully include another winger we buy soon.

That was nervy. Wow. Happy to see Gabriel make up for it but come on dude just kick the ball away.

We need another midfielder. I love pyramid Pirlo but his poor passing hurts us and I don’t want to rely on him as a starter.

Elneny is useful doing the dirty work. I agree his forward passing isn't superb, but my god it felt like he had a ton of ball recoveries today. I wanna see Zinchenko in Xhaka's position too to see.

Also I was so invested in the game and so nervous that I feel like I barely remember anything. Need to watch it again.
