Not sure why you guys are bitching. Arsenal spent a ton last summer and were willing to buy Vlahovic but he didn't want to come. The bigger problem has been buying the wrong people than not spending money. Imagine if the Pepe money was spent more wisely.
Every indication we are going to spend a lot in summer again.

Summer haul should be impressive. Can't wait to see it.

The biggest problem is having a hands off owner who has no idea that Raul is fleecing millions on transfer fees and agent fee kick backs from his buddies at Lille and so on. Kroenke discovered that about two years late which is insane.
How does Pepe's original evaluation of what I believe was at worst 40 to 45 million (may be less as I can't remember) shoot up to 78 million? That's on the owner for hiring crooks and letting them run the operation.
That said, yes, we spent a ton last summer. We also hit with all of those transfers last summer. Let's hope it continues and Stan continues to learn gets a desire to fricking win and not just try to have a circle jerk with Florentino by trying to have another go at the super league.
