Yeap. All this doesn’t matter but I wanted Arsenal to go earlier so we could get klopp.

We have to reset and not lose these games until the city game. I believe that’s the first game when all our players for afcon are out.

This next stretch should prove if Arteta should stay. How we rebound after games like this. Beat the teams below you.

Ramsdale should be the England #1 imo.

I know we just got our arse kicked but we are 5th in the table and have already played the top 3 teams. His job is pretty secure at this point (assuming we don’t have a huge collapse after this game)

Pretty encouraging to get drilled like they did yesterday and not even drop in the table. Stretch of winnable games coming, too, until City on New Year’s!

Brutal game yesterday but Liverpool are an incredible team top to bottom. Winning at Anfield is rare for any team.

We’ve got a favorable run of games coming up. If we can get a nice little run in December and win our EFL Cup Quarterfinal game then the second half of the season could be special.

The match yesterday went as expected against Liverpool at Anfield. Still really surprising to be in 5th after the rough start Arsenal had this season.

The quality gap between the top teams and Arsenal are pretty evident. Hopefully the young players continue to improve, and we bring in some additional players to keep building up the squad.

Hope everyone had a good TG. Time to go on a small run before afcon. If we can put anfield behind us we will be in good shape.

JonJo Shelvey looks and plays like a bare knuckles fighter.

Their relegation would be great. But I assume there are going to go wild this coming window.

ETA: looking back selling Willock was the right call.

Eddie Nketiah has told Arsenal he wishes to leave the club when his current deal expires next summer, after turning down another contract extension.

The Athletic understands Arsenal offered Nketiah an extension to his existing contract on Tuesday, only for the striker to reject the offer on Wednesday. Sources say Nketiah’s decision is not motivated by finances but over a lack of first-team opportunities.

It is understood that there is no shortage of interest in Nketiah, with Borussia Mochengladbach among the German clubs monitoring his situation. French side Nice are weighing up a move, while there is also interest from Italy.

What strikers are left under contract? Auba, Martinelli, Balogun?

Correct, if you count Martinelli as a striker. Laca and Nketiah expire in the summer, Auba expires 2023, Martinelli 2024, and Balogun 2025.
