You can be excited for getting a point considering the timing of Laca's goal. But, in the end teams like CP should be ours for the taking at home.

Palace played their best game of the year against us and that's quite clear.
I suppose I'll be happy with a point considering how easily we should have lost that game.
5 match unbeaten run in the Premier League would be something to be excited about except we started 0-3 so any chance to drop points hurts bad.
Regardless, next two games are at home. A win vs Aston Villa in the Premier League and a win against Leeds to have us moving on in the Carabao Cup would be beautiful to witness.

How often does a team play on a Monday then turn right back around and play on a Friday in the PL?

Probably not often, but you still get a bigger break than most of the teams playing in Europe.
Also, next week consists of mid-week EFL Cup matches, so that may have something to do with it.

Last season Leeds played wolves on Monday at home then Villa away on Friday
I don’t mind it. The worst is when you play friday and tnen don’t play again till a week from the following Monday

Yeah but had a big block on Ings’ shot. Still a young defender that didn’t always play at cb.

If that’s not a foul, then neither was the laca foul that resulted in aubas goal being called back.
It evens out.
And we are still one point off of 4th with the results going our way, Everton and Brighton losing.
And I don’t even think we finish 4th. But if we can hover around here then we can get back in Europe via the league. That’s the logical next step.
I mostly agree with everyone and not sold on Arteta, but im a fan and we just played one of our best games under him and we can be excited about that performance.
Think about Villas recruitment, they were lauded for getting their business done and bringing in good players while Arsenal was shite on for buying backups. Well our back ups played their starters off the pitch.

Since we don’t have any Europeans week day matches I would assume our lineup for the Carabo Cup and FA Cup will always be pretty strong.
Would be nice to win two trophies and make it back to top 4 this year.

Not the best first 28 minutes I have ever seen from us. Leeds having way too many chances to not capitalize yet.
