LSU loses to an inferior Notre Dame, aTm takes Chief, and Arsenal lays an egg in a huge match.

I fully expect Jameis Winston to orchestrate a late comeback and put on his shite eating grin while acting like an idiot on the sideline, and Bama to blow Ohio State out of the dome. Seems par for the course at this point...

We have Stoke at home and City after that away the next 2 matches.

Win/loss and a loss imo.

We may be in trouble with the top 4 this season. We don't even deserve to be top 4. Every year is the same old shite.

This will be the hardest year to finish top 4. Tottenham, Southampton, and Liverpool are all formidable competition. Aside from Southampton, thank God they're all playing shitty.

ETA: WE'RE frickING AVERAGE.

HOW TO BEAT ARSENAL, A GUIDE:

1. Pack the box. Arsenal has no height whatsoever, and they will resort to sending crosses into the box to players no taller than 5'7. They also refuse to play Podolski, who is the one player who doesn't mind shooting from outside the box.

2. Concede corners. Arsenal has the worst corner conversion percentage in the premier league, and half of their corners fail to clear the first defender.

3. Attack on the counter. With the lack of a true, athletic defensive midfielder and one of the slowest centerbacks in the prem, Arsenal is easily abused on counter attacks.

4. Be physical. Arsenal often look shellshocked and surprised to be playing at this level. Exploit their lack of physicality and game-winning mentality by pressuring hard and fouling often.

5. Exploit Szczesney's poor positional sense and handling. Lofting balls into the box works because they are often mishandled. Through balls to the edge of the box cause the keeper to be drawn out and isolated without cover.

6. Take advantage of set pieces. Arsenal's defending on corners and free kicks is shambolic, with near post runs never being picked up. In fact, it is tough to decide if Arsenal are worse on offensive or defensive set pieces.

7. Don't be afraid to alter tactics. Arsene Wegner is stubborn to a fault and will not adapt to changes in opposition tactics. In fact, it is said that Arsene has not reviewed tactics since the late 90s.

8. Use substitutions. Wegner likes to troll his players by avoiding substitutions, even in losing efforts, until the 80th+ minute mark. Players who would bust their arse for the club and who are paid 80k a week are left to rot on the bench, for the lulz.

9. Laugh at Arsene Wegner and the Arsenal board as one of the premier league's most (individually) talented teams performs well below itself and finishes outside of the top 4.

10. Weep for the frustrated fans of this once great club.

I wish I could dispute any of those, but sadly, I can't.

Face it guys. Right now, at this time and place, with this manager and his handling of personnel and his tactics ... we are a mid-table team.

I guess what pisses me off is the only thing making me keep cable is to record LSU, Arsenal and Saints games because I work too fricking much. And u get rewarded with absolute shite.

So it appears the first business of out January transfer window is to sell Podolski and loan out Sanogo. This BETTER be clearing wages for a prolific signing.

Where are you seeing this? This makes me so mad. Podolski loves this club and has been so positive despite being treated like crap by Arsene and left to flounder on the bench. The dude produces every time he comes on the field. It's a big shame how poorly Arsene has handled him being here.

Sky Sports says Podolski to Inter is done deal with medical tomorrow. It's appears to be only a 6 month loan though.

Who are we even rumored to be looking at for this window? All I've seen is DM the guy from Portugal and some guy for Newcastle.

This season has been so frustrating and uninteresting that I've been able to read up a lot on Arsenal's history lately. I'm trying to find positives.

Any legitimate Arsenal winter transfer rumors out there?

I'm trying to find something to be positive about...

Guy who initially reported Sanchez transfer says we are in for four CMs: two in the Prem, two in Europe. Says we will sign one.

I still think we're a world class CB and DM away from any sort of serious ambitions. An elite striker as well.

Guess Sanchez is going to play every game the rest of the year
