Joel Campbell is so frustrating.

Looks like Oxladq-Chamberlin picked up a knock when he bashed knees. Hopefully it is nothing serious (but it is Arsenal so he's probably out for a month.)

As much shite as he'll get, Campbell is great at tracking back. I really like his workrate. I nice change up from Podolski who was shite at that.

Now all Campbell has to do is finish better. Imagine Podolski's finishing with Campbell's workrate. Would be one hell of a player.

We are through, without any real threat from Hull. They played a shite squad, looks like they want to be out of all competitions to not be relegated.

I'll take it. We have some world class players coming back.

Nice 75 minutes by Theo. It will take him a bit to get back into form, no doubt.

Workmanlike performance from Campbell.

It was nice to finally have Theo and Alexis on the pitch for extended time. This will pay off.

Now if Arsene will just put Mesut at CAM where he belongs and keep Alexis central if he doesn't want him on the wing.

I can't help but think how nice if we had both Cesc and Alexis ... Alexis could have used the rest for the entire 90 today. I'm uneasy about him getting a significant injury from overwork.

But it's a win and I'm happy.

Meh. He'll have 7 days to rest though. No more games with 3 or fewer days of rest for another 4 1/2 to 5 weeks.

Theo looked very dangerous/rusty. Just his presence opens up a lot for us.

Also nice to see our D organized. I know he had some dodgy moments but I'm really excited for Bellerin's future.

And how about Le Coq? He's certainly earned a place ahead of Flamini.

Coq played some nice balls over the top to Walcott that were just a tad off. He also did his best Flamini impression with a two footed lunge tackle.

I loved the little back and forth he had with the ref after that.

Did he even make contact with the guy? I would give a yellow as a warning for leaving his feet.

But I think le Coq has been playing better than Flamini would.

Looks more like the guy's cleat hits his right foot after he got the ball.

He's been very impressive the last 3 games.

Anyone else think we should sign Winston Reid?

Yep. Coq has played very well, barring a few mistimed tackles and lazy passes.

He plays hard and is obviously athletic, and he has been very disciplined in sitting in front of the back 4, giving them cover.

I think he's earned himself some more playing time and I hope it's given to him.

He's the strongest of our three DMs in the air. He's a better passer than Flamini, more athletic than Arteta, and he's versatile. I know there's been talk of shipping him off, but I'd prefer to keep him as a squad player over Flamini.

it was a good performance, but still. hull sucks and looked dangerous at times. our d is still shite. for now, alexis is the only thing keeping us going. good to see walcot back though. I have liked coq.

Agree that Hull sucks, but I don't think they looked really dangerous. Our D is alright, I guess. Kosc and Per have proven they can work together, but I think more than a DM we NEED an elite CB, a Hummels or someone like that. There's a reason Germany benched Per and won the WC.

I think Chambers can be either our future DM or CB and provide cover at the other he's not playing at the moment, but we need an upgrade at CB.

I also think Arsene's missing a defensive minded assistant who can drill our back four
