Is this just because we are assuming City will be the main threat and not Chelsea? I was thinking it would be

1. Draw
2. Chelsea win
3. City win

I agree with this because it allows both teams to drop points (if you want to look at it that way). Regardless, we still play both teams and capitalizing on those matches is imperative.

Jose going to park more than usual. A draw gives him 4 out a possible 6 against City. He'll take that to the bank.

yes. to me, City are the favorites by far. any chance they can get to get knocked down helps our odds of winning the title. i'd rather the chief contender for the title drop all the points than our main rival for the 2nd spot split the points with them.

maybe that doesn't make sense, especially since we don't have a top 3 spot locked. i can see both arguments.

Considering there is no benefit to finishing 2nd over 3rd, I can get behind that argument.

Well boys and girl, not a bad first half for us. Hazard is toying with City's defense.

Sure does. Hopefully Arteta is going to be okay for Saturday.

Saderade, yep it was a great result.

Just curious, how did you get your tickets? I paid for a red level membership in an attempt to get tickets to the last game of the season in May. If that fails, I will probably have to do something on the secondary market.

Search for the Arsenal ticket exchange on facebook. Meet them in front of the stadium and make sure the ticket gets verified by someone at the gate before you buy it.

I would definitely recommend joining Arsenal America. For that small membership fee, you can request tickets directly through the club. That is how I got my tickets.

I also have a Red membership while there were no remaining tickets available for sale, it did allow me to search the official ticket exchange (where season ticket holders can list their tickets for face value for Red members to buy). I found several seats, but almost none were two together (though I did find one set together). Prices were very reasonable, but I did have to check often as usually when I looked there were none available. The ticket exchange opens up I think within one month of the match. The higher the demand for the ticket, the more scarce they are obviously.

Other than that, you can do as was suggested above and attempt to arrange to meet someone in front of the stadium and borrow their card (their card is the ticket). You would have to return it to them after the game, but from what I've seen you won't get charged over face value. Quite a difference from US sporting events!

it is truly a miracle I was able to sprint to the tube station/stadium at the last minute and get a legit ticket for below face value from a scalper. thank you, based Aaron Ramsey.

Also, if anyone is interested in a big Arsenal party in New Orleans, this is the weekend for it!

We are hosting "Gooner Gras" and Arsenal supporters from around the country are meeting for the party. It starts on Friday night, continues with the match at Finn's Saturday morning, and goes on through the weekend. It is all to benefit two local non-profit organizations, Youth Run NOLA and YLC Kicks.

There is a raffle at Finn's after the game where we will be giving away a lot of Arsenal gear from the Armoury at the Emirates, including some signed memorabilia by 70-71 double winner Charlie George, and even a few non-Arsenal prizes.

Check the event page for details and RSVP if you can, even if you can only attend part of it. If you can't make it, please consider donating. We hope to make this an annual event so start planning for next year!
