re: Anyone who has watched Bradley in the last 4 years raise your hand

Cameron was literally the full cause of both goals
This really was a problem. I'm a big Cameron fan, but he stumbled hard tonight. Not sure he's replaceable though.
Bradley has had a rough couple of games, not sure the 2nd was that bad. I haven't been on the board all night, but I thought he had a serviceable game tonight. Most people checking in tonight don't understand the technical nuances of playing midfield. Bradley is clearly the HNIC with complete confidence of Jurgen. He has earned the chance to work through his troubles. He is limited somewhat because his lack of athleticism. The few Ghana's of the world will always give him fits but he matches up well with most Euro teams. IMO

On the 2nd goal, Bradley gave it away. Jones AND Beckerman were pushed forward for some reason when Bradley lost it, and they ended up having a wide open counter. And Fabian Johnson was running right with Verela, looked up and started watching Ronaldo, and then Verela turned on the jets and was past him. Cameron wasnt in great position, but he wasnt in horrible position either. It took a perfect pass from Ronaldo to beat him, and thats what happened. Ronaldo delivered a perfect pass.
I would also like to know why DMB didn't halve Ronaldo before he put in the cross.

Geoff Cameron is not the problem. He made some mistakes and they ended up being huge mistakes. The 1st goal was an error and all on him. Not saying that wasnt or anything like that. That was all on him.
90% on him. Howard also bit on Nani's fake and was on the ground on his back before Nani took the shot.
Good night, everybody.

Guess what, I don't give a shite what Bradley has done for the past 4 years leading up to this. This is the world cup. This is pinnacle and reasoning for having a U.S. Mens team. If he can't help us when it matters most, then what does it matter anyways?
If you think we have anyone better than Bradley for the role he plays, you're a moron and haven't watched a lick of US soccer before this. I understand that people are enthusiastic, but I'm not going to sit here and let people talk shite about one of the best players to ever put on an American shirt and play for us. We drew because Ronaldo is one of the best players to ever play the game and showed class on a last second cross, not because of Bradley.

Well, frick. I guess he should've never played. Then we wouldn't have had to worry about what he would've done at the World Cup since we probably wouldn't have frickig been here.
He does seem pretty replaceable. Hard to believe we don't have anyone on our bench who can drill a defender in an otherwise open net and give away the ball stupidly at the end of a game.

You're my new favorite poster on here.
You often spout off bullshite about subjects you don't know anything about?

It wasn't a difficult decision to boot the ball as hard as he could down field.
Not always the best decision. It's not like he had the ball in a dangerous area. He was not in a situation where booting it was the best option. You need to keep possession with time winding down. He had the right idea to pass, but it was a BAD pass.

I mean, defending him is just as bad as trashing him right now.
He's been sub par at best. A lot of mistakes.
Germany is going to dominate the ball against us. They do against everyone, but especially against us.
ETA: I think Michael Bradley is our best player besides Howard. But just saying.

We probably have very similar opinions of how good of a player Michael Bradley is for the USMNT and his role going forward in the next 4 years.
But this:
I hope I'm not the only one appreciating the quiet irony here.

The game Thursday will be a contest to see who can kick the ball further into the stands on every possession.

bradley isn't a 10
he thinks, and JK thinks, he needs to be a 10
that's the problem/issue
he had a ton of good shite today with JJ and FJ, and he fricked up some (one, ironically, in a role he should be playing)
he looked a lot better today than against Ghana. hopefully we don't play scared against germany and get a shocker early

For sure looked better today. It's almost as if at the end he was just expecting the whistle to blow.
I'm hoping Pepe being back for Portugal can make a big difference for them against Ghana.

He's the closest thing the USA has right now. I guess you could make a case for Dempsey, but he isn't a true attacking center midfielder. More of a winger/attacker.

you don't HAVE to have a "10" though
real just won the champions league without a true 10 (the best 10 on its roster played wide by the end, and they sold perhaps the best 10 in the world b/c he didn't fit with the system)

No, but Klinsman's system requires one and Bradley is the closest we have.

Don't care about the last 4 years.
I care about today and Thursday

I'm fine with this. Maybe it's karma. I'm fine with someone here every day who knows their shite calling me out. I'm opinionated, and a lot of times, I may be wrong. That's life. What I'm not okay with is tourists coming in who haven't seen anything outside of two matches to down a player who has had very few bad games for the shirt. It's ridiculous.
Portugal made an exceptional play. That's about it.
