This place turns into the rant during World Cup. I swear.

Who gives a shite if he played stellar against Jamaica in the last 4yrs
Jamaica, and just about every other team the US has played in the last 4 years.

Going into the World Cup, the only players most people were comfortable with and trusted out there were Dempsey, Howard, and Bradley.
I would add Cameron, Fabian Johnson, and maybe Besler to the list (not for me, but for an approximation of a typical fan who watches most matches), but all after Dempsey, Howard, and Bradley.

You can't honestly tell me that someone can comment on the quality player from two games. I just don't get it.
I knew this board would get a little ridiculous during the World Cup but this is ridiculous.
When the nation only really follows the sport during the World Cup, then yeah, one's ability to perform in crunch time is a big deal. It wasn't a difficult decision to boot the ball as hard as he could down field. It is like dumping a puck in hockey. There was no real reason to try to get cute there. There was no skill involved. He wasn't being overly pressured. That is why is was such a bizarre gaffe, especially in conjunction with his miscue at the end of the Ghana game when he didn't go to the corner. If one of your most experienced players can't be counted on to do fundamental things, then who the hell can a coach count on? Maybe next game, Jurgen should sub out Bradley if USA happens to have a lead late.

Minus the last two.
Hence the confusion and anger.
This is not the Bradley we know.

Yea thats my point though... Dempsey, Howard, and Bradley were on their own level compared to everyone else. They were supposed to be " the guys" for us. Dempsey and Howard are most def "the guys" for us. But Bradley... not so much.

That will not happen. Jurgen is 100% behind him as am I. He's been the engine of this team through qualifying and even before that.
You can't just read one chapter in order to understand the whole book.

These things happen in high pressure situations sometimes. Great players become goats. Sometimes they redeem themselves. Sometimes it tarnishes their careers forever.

I really cannot see Bradley having three poor games in a row on the biggest stage in soccer.
I expect him to be back against Germany.

This place is miserable during the World Cup. Why is Bradley the problem when Cameron was literally the full cause of both goals? Mark Verela and it's fricking over. That's the ONLY thing you have to do. Put a fricking head or foot or chest or dick on the fricking ball and it's over.
This was heartbreaking, but this "casual input" is the result of morons. Bradley didn't play great but frick off with this idea of him being the problem. The problem is Geoff Cameron GIFTING goals to the opponent.

You said you already knew that.
Guess what, I don't give a shite what Bradley has done for the past 4 years leading up to this. This is the world cup. This is pinnacle and reasoning for having a U.S. Mens team. If he can't help us when it matters most, then what does it matter anyways?

Well, frick. I guess he should've never played. Then we wouldn't have had to worry about what he would've done at the World Cup since we probably wouldn't have frickig been here.

Everyone who doesn't know dick about the team or him is saying he sucks as an absolute as if he's always been terrible.
AND HE HELPED US FOR THE MOST OF THE GAME!!! He had a few bad moments but he still played well outside of those. Yeah they were crucial but better man marking on the Ronaldo cross and were not talking about this.
Like I already said, no one person can blow a game for you so don't act like this game is an exception.

This place is miserable because everyone feels like they need to point out 1 person and blame them for the entire match and for everything that went wrong.
Just like you did with Cameron. And it isnt right. Every player makes mistakes during games and some of those mistakes could have been game changers. Its not right to say this 1 person is the problem and cost us a game or whatever.
Geoff Cameron is not the problem. He made some mistakes and they ended up being huge mistakes. The 1st goal was an error and all on him. Not saying that wasnt or anything like that. That was all on him.
On the 2nd goal, Bradley gave it away. Jones AND Beckerman were pushed forward for some reason when Bradley lost it, and they ended up having a wide open counter. And Fabian Johnson was running right with Verela, looked up and started watching Ronaldo, and then Verela turned on the jets and was past him. Cameron wasnt in great position, but he wasnt in horrible position either. It took a perfect pass from Ronaldo to beat him, and thats what happened. Ronaldo delivered a perfect pass.
Cameron was arguably our best player vs Ghana, along with Jones. And even after he made that mental mistake early on today, he bounced back and had a lot of key stops and tackles and broke up scoring opportunities for Portugal.
You cant single out 1 player and say he is the problem. Especially when that player has been solid, he just made some mistakes. He also made some good plays as well.
