What is going on in this thread?

A bunch of bull crap. I don't think there was any doubt which team played better, and I've tried to admit it, but everyone still feels the need to light City up. No one likes a champion, but I guess the only person who is hated more is someone who admits defeat when it happens. Makes a lot of sense.

I didn't talk a word of shite all week to try and avoid this, i actually said I was looking forward to the game because of United's form, but somehow I'm still the bad guy haha.

I'll never give Costa credit though. He's a disgrace and disgusts me.

Be honest, are you wearing your personalized authentic Suarez jersey right now?

Whoa. City haven't lost back-to-back EPL matches since October 2010.

Never have liked Fabregas that much. Always been kinda a meh player to me. Good but not spectacular.

What? That seems like a lazy opinion. He was the reason Arsenal remained top four while he was here and was utterly fantastic between 2007-2011. He is a defensive liability but he is been supremely productive in the EPL. You don't get 20 assists in one season as he did in 2007/08 or contribute to 28 goals like he did in 2009/10 in the EPL unless you are a spectacular player.

Costa is awesome. Said that from day 1. I will always be a fan. You won't find any irony from my neck of the woods.

In what way? I don't really like him. I love the nasty side of his game but he goes too far too often to where it hurts the team. I do appreciate his lack of diving since he came to Chelsea which was my primary concern.

Lukaku is only like 21, he has plenty of time to reach his potential.

he's not done or anything, but he seemed like he was on his way to taking shite over last year and kind of regressed

that's why i said his luster has dimmed. randy's big point preseason was that chelsea should have kept lukaku and not gone after costa

i think that in hindsight, buying costa and selling lukaku high was the right set of moves

I missed most of the game because I had to go to lunch with the girlfriend's family, but I will say I'm quite pleased with the result. How did we look?

Yea I hated that decision but it's looking like maybe it wasn't a terrible one.

Though we could use him right now with Costa and Remy out. Drogba is just awful right now.

It was more I just didn't want Costa because I don't like him. I wanted us to get a striker. Just not him.

2008 Euros. That Turkey team were the comeback kids. Made the semi finals.

We got first dibs. He's said in many interviews if LFC came calling, he gone. He's been a Liverpool fan since he was a kid.
