there are 11 players on the field in a soccer match. having one academy player means nothing, especially if you're relying on a bunch of high-priced mercs
they all made an impact

against which opponents? did they get in a game worth a shite? that's an honest question
Wilson, McNair and januzaj for sure

they just started investing in their academy so i wouldn't expect consistent proceeds for 5+ years
lol City has been a club for almost a 100 years which used to pride its self on its local youth players.
Since the take over none of them have got a shot. Instead City went around buying all the best kids around Europe and they still can't crack the first team. They paid 2.4 million pounds for a 16 year old Pozo.

Am I wrong?
This has been a shitty EPL season and Chelsea just lucked out the other big boys have had terrible seasons.
Don't think many would disagree.

Don't be mad no one gives a shite about your ugly arse team this year
I'm so mad bro. I'm so mad my team is about to win another trophy. I will admit it does take a little fun out of it being so much better than the rest of you though.

Ugliest champions
Oxymoron.
What Liverpool would give to be referred to as "ugly champions".

Have claimed 33 out of a possible 36 points and are leading all of Europe in points per match since January 1.

5 times.
Are you sad you're now the 2nd trendiest bandwagon in the EPL?

You picked the wrong bandwagon to jump on. Full implosion is happening right in front of your eyes.
Lol full implosion? They're still in the top four?
Also, I'm definitely not a bandwagon fan for City, I've been a supporter of theirs since 05, before the money was even there. Any real fan will say that it's seasons, which it looks like will still be one where City qualifies for the UCL, like this that make the championship ones that much more fun to be a part of.
You can hate all you want, every club has haters, but as it stands City are the reigning champions and are 4-1 in the last five Manchester Derby's.
United played splendid today and deserved to win, but that doesn't mean I'm jumping off the "bandwagon" any time soon.

Meh, no one gives a frick.
Yeah, because I guess championships don't matter?

I love how a United back on the roll gets this board so fricking fired up

Still doesn't take away from the title.
Congrats on the win today by the way SCH, I'm not going to make excuses for City. You guys played lights out and have been for awhile now.

Are we that high now? I would give us 4th at best.

- Paddy McNair started and went the full 90 against Arsenal and started against Spurs. (During the injury crisis)
- Tyler Blackett started five of United's first six EPL matches this season, went the full 90 against Arsenal. (Also during the injury crisis)
- James "Rodriguez" Wilson started back-to-back matches against Liverpool and Stoke.
- Adnan Januzaj hasn't gotten a lot of action, unfortunately. Some subs here and there against smaller EPL teams.

i don't mind chelsea this year. they have physicality and can be scary on offense. fabregas is awesome
watching fab/hazard/costa move on offense is great. ivonovic is one of my favorite guys to watch b/c he's everywhere and works his arse off

Damn.
Mata was offsides as frick.
No surprise though for those dirty shitty ManCs.
They deserved another season of Moyes pain.

I love to hate Ivo. He always kills us. Hazard is pure beast.
I'll never give Costa credit though. He's a disgrace and disgusts me.
Never have liked Fabregas that much. Always been kinda a meh player to me. Good but not spectacular.
Posted on 4/12/15 at 12:18 pm to SlowFlowPro
Fabregas has been fairly bad since the new year, though his form has seemed to turn lately. No team in the PL can exploit Chelsea's defensive weakness in the midfield, as Fabregas is positionally wayward (as I'd Yaya Toure for that matter).
