Atlanta is expecting a bid but Mercedes Benz is supposedly to small to host CONCAF champions league games. I heard the committee was blown away by it.

The International Broadcast Center for the WC will be in Atlanta (thanks CNN). Zero chance Atlanta was getting snubbed. I'd expect 2-3 group stage matches, 1-2 R16 and a QF at a minimum. Hopefully a SF as well.

Too bad the Chicago Mayor sucks; I think they missed an opportunity to revamp soldier field and get the tourism $$$

No Vegas or Phoenix was interesting to me

Kansas City must’ve had one hell of a blank check haha

Can Jerry World even fit a full size soccer pitch?

Honestly, don’t care. I will be taking two weeks off and attending every match I can in Dallas and Houston.

Laughable selection. Philly is an American embarrassment; odds are strong that some argentine is hit in the head with an unopened can of soup. They might as well have chosen Cleveland.

Yeah, I hope I’m not still living in Texas, but if I am, I’ll definitely try to go to a game.

I doubt the US will be playing but there will still be some cool games to check out.

Remember that time a friendly robot traveled solo across all of Europe and Canada and then got to Philadelphia and was almost immediately destroyed?

eh there was decent speculation KC would get in. Hunt family, massive soccer city, and the locals will support it big time.

According to FIFA guidelines, the minimum stadium capacity to host a men’s WC match is about 38,000, so Toronto should be just fine.

There will be a huge contingent of fans that will travel from St. Louis where soccer has been huge since the beginning.

Y’all think New Orleans put in a bud? Could superdome or Tulane field have been made suitable?
