Considering T&T were never going to score a goal, that is literally a best possible result. Although I still hope Mexico ends up in oppossite bracket so we can crush their souls in a final again.

Just did some Hispanic news searching…
According to Efraín Alvarez, Lozano had surgery sometime between last night and this morning.
He didn’t say on what, but did say that Lozano was doing well.
That’s gonna hurt Mexico’s overall outcome in this tourney, I think. He likely won’t be back if that is true.

It also means Alvarez likely will be starting for Mexico now.
