No idea. Their brand should be strong enough to bring in who ever like United, Chelsea, City, Arsenal etc.
But just depends on if they want to play for BR. Not sure if he has the credibility (This is no shot at BR) with those big names yet to pull them away from already big clubs like say Wenger has.

No i doubt it b/c that would be spending all their Suarez money on one player. Plus they have enough attacking mids and wingers. They need to invest in some more holding mids and CB's. Problem is the big boys like Hummels are hands off.
I doubt Monaco sells him they just dropped major coin on him

I don't see Monaco selling (especially not this season), and I don't want Liverpool to buy.
TBH, I'd rather hang on to some of the money than overspend for lower-class players. In a perfect world, we could have a successful season in EPL and CL without spending it all, then use it next season when BR has more respect and notoriety.

Monaco are headed to the UCL this season. I'd give them two or three seasons to win a Ligue 1 title before James leaves, unless he forces a sale to a club like Real Madrid, Bayern or Barcelona.

Is this more or less than Bale? I'm shocked the price was this high considering the suspension.

I think it will end up being less than Bale. But Barca were desperate to do big business this window considering they are facing a transfer ban after the summer. And Liverpool were very firm on the price they were willing to accept.

Bale is younger and doesn't bite so he was always going to go for more.
The biggest question, does the irreplaceable Liverpool striker curse continue?

Atlético Madrid have closed a deal to sign Slovenian goalkeeper Jan Oblak from Benfica. Los Rojiblancos will pay the 16 million euros in the player’s buyout clause and he is set to join the Madrid club immediately. Oblak did not return to training with Benfica in order to close the deal and could already be in the Spanish capital. Nevertheless, the move will not be made official until Monday.
With Oblak Atlético have now resolved their goalkeeping issues after Moyá joined the club from Getafe for three million euros.
Los Rojiblancos will also attempt to sign midfielder Gaitán from Benfica in a deal that could see two players unused by Simeone exchanged in the move: the Portuguese Silvio and French player Guilavogui, although the latter prefers a move to Wolfsburg.
