Great take, it’s unfortunate that people don’t realize how China tries to censor the world with money. I mean how freaking inflated is Xi’s ego that he cannot be possibly bare losing face, idk it’s like North Korean level.

Chinese influence is deep into our politicians, media, and businesses.
Look around and notice how so few want to call out China for it's bad acts.
They cause more air pollution than all others combined but,

Last summer I got into it with some co-workers in a group chat, as the more lefty ones got upset I would call it the WuFlu. "We got to evolve and not do it that way anymore. We are better than that. It's causing anti-Asian hate/attacks". Of course they brought it during the anti-Asian hate push.
Man I've been enjoying calling them out on how these variants have been called the last month or so.

Don’t stop. It should always be referred to as the China or Wuhan virus. If they get upset, you can offer a CCP virus variant and see how they like it.
