That's a weak arse nation issuing an ultimatum to a far stronger nation in which either option is very close to a guarantee of WWIII.
At that point yes, you say no and add frick off- gimme our shite back. And you tell Putin if you stop where you are at we'll stop supplying them. If he breaks the agreement, so what- you still averted WWIII.
I'll admit, Zelensky has a point- if we hadn't insisted they turn over their Soviet nukes for security agreement (obviously broken) this likely would have never happened. But that bridge was long ago crossed. WWIII is worth eastern Ukraine.
ETA: Trump shouldn't answer just yet... could be a Logan Act entrapment.

If Ukraine were to use a nuke, of any kind, he would feel justified in overwhelmingly responding in kind and would therefore do it. There would be no moral or even practical considerations.
It's the same mentality as 'I didn't do anything wrong as long as I don't get caught'.
Also... make no mistake- Zelensky would operate the same way and thinks the same way, he just lacks the capability.

They had nukes and gave them up in a deal with Russia. Guess how that worked out for them?
