In all seriousness, if they met in person and somehow Zelensky had Putin killed and somehow survived it, how would the west react to it? I can't really imagine anything of substance negatively happening to him not from the western powers anyways
They'd probably put out statements condemning assassination but at the end of the day the west is NOT going to side with Russia. Obviously the US is a little different but we still aren't going to pick Russia over Ukraine when it comes down to it
Now I fully expect in such a circumstance Russia would steamroll Ukraine. With Nuclear weapons if that's what it took. Not sure how the west and more specifically the US would react to all of that

It's against Ukrainian law for Zelenski to negotiate with Zelenski. They passed this law to ensure negotiations are handled by London and France.
