YouTube hiding Rogan/Trump is hilarious/petty

Im finally finishing the episode today and noticed in the comments people saying YouTube was hiding this video and you couldn’t search for it.
Sure enough, I went to YouTube and searched “Joe Rogan Trump” “Joe Rogan Trump Interview Full”, “Joe Rogan Experience Trump Interview” … literally my search results are all MSM stories talking about the interview and then clips of other random YouTubers talking about it…the fourth result was a CNN interview of Mark Cuban…even included a 10 month old Jimmy Kimmel monologue in the results. The actual podcast is nowhere to be seen in any search.
Absurd.
ETA: 34 million views in 3 days shows it doesn’t matter in the end

You searched for it in your search bar and it appeared in your search results? What did you search?
I just searched “Joe Rogan Experience Trump” and it’s not there and a CNN video about Puerto Rico joke was the 4th result
This isn’t how search results should work. This is algorithms actively altering and suppressing user intent

If you go to his channel. But all I get is news videos and not the actual podcast if I type “Rogan trump”

Figured you were over exaggerating so I went to YouTube typed in Joe Rogan Donald Trump… highlights came up. I typed full interview… still bits and pieces with news medias reaction.
Then I typed in Joe Rogan Theo von and it was the first Video 3 hours long.

They absolutely are sandbagging it. You can search any combination of terms, and the video isn't found. It has 34 million views in three days and can't be found through search.

Just started it earlier this morning. I had typed in 'Rogan' in the search and the full interview was near the top. I went back in just now and searched 'Rogan Trump' and it's basically buried.

I just searched Joe Rogan
Brought up his podcast couple of the other episodes showed first but the Trump one was third in line
I watch a good number of news programs I watch Rogan,,, kill Tony so my algorithms probably helped

that is true if you only search rogan.
however, like someone else said, if you type "rogan theo von" their podcast comes right up. the same doesn't happen if you do "rogan trump"

Try "Joe Rogan Experience Channel" on YouTube.
Shows right up.
Problem now is every talking head is talking about it and you need to filter down to locate it.

You’re missing the bigger picture.
Searching Joe Rogan Experience pulls up his podcast channel first, and since Trump is the latest episode is shows there logically. That’s fine and how search results should work.
Sure there will be more search results due to the popularity of the Trump interview, but the actual video should be the top search results for any combination. It’s not there at all. Which is is absurd and laughable.
But searching for any other JRE with name of the guest they are the top result.

That’s not how YouTube does it. You must click on the podcast channel page and then “videos” to see them in order from newest to oldest. This is true for every page on YouTube.
