Yeah that aint happening. I expect they will be allowed into the country for a hearing. Hopefully it is a rubber stamp process and we send every one of them back.
If some of them get to remain they need to be housed in a camp so they cannot get a job and send money back home. That is what they are wanting to do and if they cannot do it then they will ask to be returned to their home. And it will be a deterrent to anyone illegally crossing. The days of catch and release should be over.

Issue a warning to US citizens in Mexico, Mexican citizens lawfully in the US, and shippers of perishable goods on either side that if the invading force comes within 500 miles of the US border the border will be closed indefinitely to all land traffic.
Order the Solicitor General to prepare an EO requiring proof of citizenship or resident/Visa status in all funds transferred out of the US. Back this up with forfeiture of remitted sum plus money laundering charges on the remitter, the commercial entity facilitating the transfer, and any employee of said entity who takes part in a proscribed transaction. (And follow through with this second part even after the Mexican government folds and detains/shoots the invaders over the threat of a closed border.)

You send the National Guard or at least have them on standby. I think that's honestly the right thing to do

No doubt. I believe that the President, in this situation, has the Constitutional authority to take command of the National Guards of the Southwest states and utilize them for border protection.

I would offer them detention in a facility in the desert or free transportation to Canada. I would honestly put some serious pressure on Mexico to start taking care of both the corruption and the illegal crossings. Give them an ultimatum, they either take care of the problem or we will.
