You pull a guy over for running a red light.
He has an outstanding warrant.
You tell him he’s under arrest and to exit the car.
He refuses.
What do you do?

Call for backup.
Break his passenger side window.
Put the canine up to the passenger side window and start counting backwards from ten.

First mistake. Depending on the warrant, you have back-up rolling to your location. Felony warrant, you let back-up arrive before you act on it. Treat the stop as just a traffic violation.

Remove him from the vehicle following protocols and legal requirements for making an arrest…..
You don’t have to shoot with gun instead of taser. You don’t have to sit on his neck for 9 mins. You don’t have to get 4 of your buds and beat the shite out of him while someone’s holding him up. You don’t have to shoot him in the back if he runs unless he pulls a weapon.

There’s no reason to flex big guy. The training tells them to do the same thing most people would do. Call for back up.
