I didn’t vote for Dems but I would have if they weren’t completely insane. Trump completely lost me when he attacked Iran.

Took a long time after electing Chavez for most in Venezuela to appreciate just how fricked they were.
You talking about the richest country in south America throughout the 80s and 90s devolved into total chaos when they bough into the marxist bullshite.
So we'll see.

Spent all that time on getting complete control then dropped the ball by forgetting to actually do stuff for the average voter and the economy went in the tank. At least Newt had a reasonable first hundred days. When DJT said he had a concept of a plan for healthcare, then never followed through, he lost the older and middle age voter who actually care about how they will keep their family healthy.

All this shows you is why killing Charlie Kirk was so important to democrats. Sadly it worked for them

Was intentional. There's no way to frick up that bad unless it's intentional.
Went along to get along.
Biggest accomplishment was passing bills naming a couple of post offices.

So Israel really is a greater threat than Iran?
Do our congressman have Iranian handlers?
Any foreign nation that has infiltrated our political process is a threat to the sovereignty of the country.

Same for me.
I just skipped the federal elections in Florida. Didn't really matter, but they didn't get my vote. I voted none of the above.
Still voted straight republican on the state races. Those are the ones I think are most important.

So you understand we completely pay for everything for Israel, if you are a Jew and move there you get a free furnished house, free healthcare, free college, etc etc. Then they take billions of what we give them and fund AIPAC that makes sure they give them whatever they want. We fund their bribery. They kill Americans yearly without recourse, they attack our ships, rape our children, Epstein was a Mossad asset, trade our secrets to the Russians and even their Prime Minister said he had control over Trump and we were their bitches. They knew about 9-11 in advance did nothing, they treat us like shite. Their soldiers piss on the cross and putt in in the web. They regularly murder Christian’s and bomb churches. We have an Israel first policy and people are tired of this shite. (Google it like they do and you see it all. )

Okay, but again - is Israel a greater threat to us than Iran?
If you think so, just say it.

Illegal immigrants are not taking jobs young adults are applying to you moron.
All those thousands of Indians that lied on their resumes about their experience and education to get those hundred plus thousand dollar a year jobs in IT thank you all for your vote...
Im sure there are no young American Citizen Adults that would apply for those jobs anyway, why would they want to compete for them with the rest of the world when they could go work at Lowes or Home Depot for 20 an hour?

Wait, my fellow white Texas Exes don't lie on their resume or use nepotism to get jobs either? Come on man, everybody does that shite.

I think you missed the point entirely. Point being we have college grads born here that are way under-employed because foreigners are taking a lot of jobs. And everyone keeps saying the foreigners are not taking jobs that American Citizens would want. Even foreigners that are technically legal can be here by illegal means of lieing about there education and experience to get an H1B Visa.
Thats not even mentioning all the Foreigners that lie to get Asylum here so they can legally work. They are taking jobs too, and not jobs mowing lawns.

Question to anyone shocked by this, what did you expect to happen?
This is what happens when you center your policy on what chronically online boomers want.
Not saying Democrats are going to help them but they've been completely ignored by Trump since they helped out him into office. They're deeply impacted by the layoffs, they've been priced out of the housing market, and they're being sent off to a war they don't support. What did you expect to happen?

It's not crazy at all. Israel is active in our political system and tries to influence it to have power. They do this through bribes and blackmail.
Many of our congressman have Israeli/AIPAC handlers. Think about that for a minute. A foreign government basically has someone who tells our congressmen what to do and say about issues.
They do not care about party, they support both parties. They only care about influence and power for their benefit.
The entire concept of giving any foreign nation should be seen as theft and treason. Not just Israel, all.
What kind of influence and power does Iran have over the US? What threat does Iran pose?

We were talking about illegal immigration, and now you're bringing up legal immigration, specifically H-1B visas. Those are two entirely different topics, and conflating them doesn't help the discussion.
Furthermore, I don't believe there's sufficient evidence to suggest that H-1B fraud is prevalent enough to justify treating it as a widespread problem or blaming the broader H-1B workforce for Americans losing jobs. Does fraud happen? Absolutely. But acknowledging that fraud exists is very different from suggesting it's happening at a scale significant enough to explain what's happening in the American tech labor market.
I believe American tech companies should be held accountable for their hiring practices. And yes, I believe qualified American software engineers should have priority when companies are filling positions that they can competently perform.
I have confidence in the quality of American engineering talent, and I don't believe companies should be looking overseas simply because they can potentially find cheaper labor. We have plenty of capable software engineers here, and our domestic workforce shouldn't be disadvantaged by corporate decisions designed primarily to reduce labor costs.
Companies aren't necessarily being held accountable, even with measures like the proposed $100K H-1B fee. Depending on the circumstances, it can still be financially advantageous for companies to hire through international recruitment rather than compete for domestic talent.
At the same time, we're seeing companies lay off experienced engineers, reduce their workforces, and expect the remaining employees to take on more responsibilities with AI tools. Companies have been experimenting with replacing labor with AI, but that comes with its own costs, including tokens, infrastructure, and the engineering time required to review and maintain AI-generated code.
Ironically, we're also seeing the economics of that equation shift. In certain circumstances, hiring junior engineers may become more cost-effective than relying heavily on AI tools.
The point is that companies are constantly looking for ways to reduce expenses, whether that's through layoffs, outsourcing, international recruitment, or automation.
The problem with advanced-skill tech jobs isn't simply foreigners coming here to work. The bigger issue is companies exploiting labor markets and using whatever available means they have to maximize profits and minimize expenses.
Foreign workers aren't the ones making corporate hiring policies, deciding to lay off American engineers, or restructuring entire departments to reduce payroll. Corporate executives and management are making those decisions.
You can criticize H-1B policies, demand stronger enforcement, and advocate for American workers without turning foreign workers into the scapegoat.
Ultimately, I believe the issue deserves to be addressed at the corporate and policy level. Otherwise, we're directing our anger toward the wrong people while allowing the companies actually making these decisions to escape accountability.
