I wasn’t taking the shot before it was labeled a failure. So the success or failure of the shot was never a consideration. Nor was the party that claimed the shot as a political win or loss.
Some on the left want to make this into a political game and it isn’t. If Reagan rose from the dead and offered me an mRNA shot with no long term data, I’d refuse it.
Factors:
Strength of my immune system
Low mortality rate of COVID
Unknowns about the shot
Non-factors:
Trump
Biden, although it is a pleasure to tell him GFY

I’m a Trump guy but I could not care less if he or anybody else thinks that I should take the vaccine. I don’t trust it’s claimed effectiveness versus the unknown risks. It’s not about conspiracy theories or tracking chips, etc. It was all just too rushed to production from my perspective.

I had Covid prior to the vaccine even being available to me, so my view was that getting the jab was irrelevant at that point.

Heck I'm almost 40 and overweight and I'm having a hard time seeing the benefits yet. Would like to see actual data on the numbers of people dying from this vaccine before I move forward with getting it. It's clear they aren't being honest with us about that.

I have a colleague who intends to get it for their high school kids. I told her I don't see how the risks for kids are high enough to warrant getting them the vaccine and I thought she might faint. U do realize Trump is not taking credit for the actual vaccine....operation warp speed was to reduce the BS red tape bureaucracy BS this government has in place. That is his success, clearing the way for a vaccine to be developed.
