Yesterday I spent 5 hours with an angry black leftist who hates us

Was invited to play golf in Portland area with a new friend who's from Jamaica and he invited along a couple of his buddies (both black).

One of the guys was okay, but this other one (recent hire by Nike) wore Malcolm X style eyeglasses and also rocked an (almost visible) huge chip on his shoulder. Some of the more entertaining moments:

- when discussing who our favourite NFL and college teams are (nobody in Portland is from Portland, so the favourite teams yesterday were: Saints, Vikings, Raiders, and Colts) he stated very loudly and clearly that he "DOESN'T WATCH THE NFL ANY LONGER, but that when he did his team was the Colts".

- Proudly told us that when he had the chance to meet Tiger Woods he "declined the opportunity" and that most of his colleagues in his department at Nike did the same. He didn't clarify but given the context it's because Tiger isn't woke. The rest of us were like "damn that's crazy I'd have definitely met Tiger". I was kind of playing naive the entire time and never really poked the bear. This was the hardest anecdote to resist b/c part of me wanted to get him to publicly diss Tiger in front of everybody.

- when discussing recent shows / movies, he again loudly and proudly stated that he is watching "THE LOUDEST VOICE, ABOUT ROGER AILES". I feigned interest ("Oh? What's that about?") and he answered "this fascist whose life mission was to blind the masses". Ahh, I see.

- Scoffed when DJT came up and dismissed him as "that fascist con man" and demanded we change the subject.

- He hates all of the Dem candidates except Bernie but will ultimately have to vote for whoever emerges versus "that fascist who currently occupies the White House".

Anyway, the annoying thing to me isn't his idiot pseudo-intellectual views (he definitely thinks he's the most intelligent person in any room he's in despite the fact that he's basically nothing more than a Jamele Hill clone mindlessly regurgitating Shaun King talking points) is that this guy is well educated and makes six figures at Nike. He was recruited by one of the top 10 companies in the world in the greatest country in the world (in large part b/c he's black) and yet he STILL is insanely unhappy and bitter and STILL has this huge chip on his shoulder and is STILL boycotting a league in which the players are approaching 80% African American millionaires and STILL clearly dislikes friendly white people like yours truly.

It's a very scary future we're headed for IMO. Oh and later we were joined by another 10 people (most far leftists) and an older white guy who had just come back from the Iowa State Fair and had pictures with almost every Dem candidate there (his favourites are Klobuchar and Delaney, who is shockingly buff and ripped in person).

Was an interesting day. I like my first friend who invited me but I don't particularly care to get lumped into a group with militant Shaun King leftists who despise me and our country. Don't really know how to handle that going forward.
