Correct

quote:

Agnostic atheists are atheistic because they do not hold a belief in the existence of any deity and agnostic because they claim that the existence of a deity is either unknowable in principle or currently unknown in fact.

The agnostic atheist may be contrasted with the agnostic theist, who believes that one or more deities exist but claims that the existence or nonexistence of such is unknown or cannot be known

The Christian faith teaches that because man is created in God's image and that the law of God is written on their hearts (conscience), all humanity has a sense of the spiritual. Without specific revelation from God, those spiritual inclinations manifest themselves in various ways with various beliefs as people try to understand what seems innate and put structure around what they do not fully comprehend.

Native Americans were almost universally polytheistic and no, they were not born with that belief. They were taught it by someone else just like every religious person ever was taught.

So the non-contacted tribes in the Amazon who engage in witchcraft and make blood sacrifices to the god of war are actually practicing Christianity?

Interesting.

And does this warrant their entrance into Heaven?

A christian says this is incorrect. We will agree to disagree as we have hit the wall

I never said they don't exist only that they are the minority of atheists.

Interesting.
Not at all. The point is that everyone has an innate sense of God and without revelation from God to explain who He is and what He requires of us, people tend to come up with their own explanation of the supernatural which best fits their own understanding of the world or their own insecurities or desires and needs. They essentially create a religion to put structure around what they know but don't understand.

Most of my favorite libertarians are atheists.

The religious politicians who think they're doing God's work by enforcing Christian values through the law are usually the worst candidates for office. Ex: Rick Santorum, Mike Huckabee...etc

The Christian would be demonstrably wrong then. This is one those "real world" beliefs which can be tangibly disproven.

It is a fact no child is born with religious belief, nor any other belief for that matter. A child deprived of all sensory input from the time they are born will never develop beliefs in anything.

Atheism is, by it's very definition, a lack of belief.

I am always amazed that this distinction is so hard to grasp by so many people.

Is he/she for lower taxes and less regulation?

Is he or she for the first and second amendment?
