Would you use professionals (doctors, attorneys, CPAs) who donated to Biden?

I have a CPA friend, who recently had an intro phone call with a potential new client. This new client was referred to the CPA by the new client's financial advisor.
The call went well.
After the call, the new client did some digging on the CPA's background, and found out,
1) The CPA has donated, in 2020, to the Trump campaign
2) The CPA's personal facebook page, has lots of mentions of support for Trump (I can attest that this is indeed correct, dude is a hard core Trump supporter). (I can also attest that this CPA has a business facebook page as well, which doesn't even come close to being political).
The potential client sent an e-mail to the financial advisor, informing him that because of this information, the potential client is "troubled" and will not be using this CPA, and asked the financial advisor for additional referrals.
I know the democrats are all about trying to cancel people and ruin livelihoods, but are Republicans going to do the same?
Would you not use a doctor, attorney, or a CPA because they donated to the Biden campaign, and/or espoused Biden support on their personal social media accounts?
Would you even try to find out that information?

Depends. How good are they at their job? I don’t give a damn who my doctor supports as long as he’s the best when makes that cut

In a typical political environment where pubs and Dems are just both harmlessly dumb then no I wouldn't really care about finding out which party they support. If they are openly supporting a party hell bent on removing all of my rights then you better believe I'm going to make decisions based on that.

Nope. Is my doctor a good doctor? End of discussion. I couldn't care less who he voted for.
I know my attorney is a hardcore lefty... he's buddies with Steve Cohen. But he's a good attorney.
Also... does anyone else hate the term troubled or troubling? "I found out some troubling information that I'm troubled about." I HATE it.

All the rioters from saturday that swapped covid around will need to ask the doctor at the hospital "who did you vote for/donate to" before they let them hook up the oxygen.

I didn’t look them up to see if they donated to Obama or Clinton, so no. However, I might be inclined to investigate now knowing that going after conservatives is the flavor of the day to verify they were unhinged like some and were representing my best interests.

If I need heart surgery, I want the best heart surgeon around, not the best one that didn't support Biden.

What if your doctor finds out you're a Trump supporter?

The way you cancel everything that isn't your way... You guys soon won't have anything to buy or anywhere to go at all.
Once I heard that most of our oxygen comes from plants and trees and learned that the democrats are more concerned about the environment than republicans, I've been holding my breath a lot.

My qualifications are as follows-
1. Are they good at their job?
2. Do they let their politics interfere with their work?
The answers better be Yes and No, in that order.
The first stands by itself. The second depends on HOW politics bleed into their job. If I’m being asked by a doctor about guns in the home, I’m finding a new doctor.

I can't say I've ever gone out of my way to research the opinions of someone that performs a service for me. If they have good professional referrals, good enough for me.

I’m 99% sure my Dr is a Democrat
She is a great Dr. & I will not change because of it

frick yeah. I couldn't give a shite who someone I use for business supports politically. 2 separate things.
People that cannot separate the 2 are very sad simple minded people.

I would question the morality and intellect of someone that voted for Biden

I’d avoid any professional who lacked the good judgment to avoid inflammatory and divisive public comments.

Not if that were the only deciding factor between competing options.

I'm more interested in whether the doc is a good surgeon/doc/what not as opposed to who he voted for.
Not sure I care who prepares my food if it's prepared safely .. or who stocks the grocery shelf .. or who fills my prescription.

Sounds like this CPA did nothing of the sort based on the following from OP
quote:
1) The CPA has donated, in 2020, to the Trump campaign
2) The CPA's personal facebook page, has lots of mentions of support for Trump (I can attest that this is indeed correct, dude is a hard core Trump supporter). (I can also attest that this CPA has a business facebook page as well, which doesn't even come close to being political).
Who goes to look for campaign contributions? That some mentally unstable type behavior.
